Switch to 12/12 or wait just a little longer?

I'm wondering if I should switch over to 12/12 or wait and let them veg just a little longer. I would like to be done in early April but could push later. I just don't know if waiting a little longer would make a huge difference or not? Any experience out there lend anyone to knowing? I'm at just about 10" and right about a month in. The time period I'm considering waiting is about two weeks. Space is not an issue.

Space is not an issue? What about light? I'd transplant them into 5 gallons. To me it looks like you are in 1 gallon pots, not big enough especially if space is not an issue. I'd transplant and veg another month and change your finish date.

Yeah, what kind of light are you using (for flowering). Also what kind of strain is it, more indica or sativa. If time/space isnt an issue then Id let it veg more. If you MUST be done early arpil then start flowering soon, especially if its a sativa.

Edit: are you growing them outdoors (balcony/window)? Why does your background consist of what looks like a carpet and drapes?

nomatter what, do a repot now before even considering a switch, will do so much good for your girls

I would probably repot them in some nice 3 gallon pots and give em a few weeks more as a minimum.

here are my fist two babies I Veg for 8 week`s under some T5s but also ended up in 7 gallon pots

I agree... you need to transplant to a bigger pot BEFORE you flip to 12-12.
And, if space isn't an issue, then veg for as long as you can. Bigger plant equals more finished product. However, if you're looking to finish up by April, you may want to flip them sooner than later. You need 8-10 weeks for a good flower, depending on strain.

Every strain seems to have a greater effect if ya go 11 weeks

I like a couple more weeks on the veg on seed plants so they mature

I've changed to a 3 gallon pot. A plant warrior pot. I'm going to try and squeeze an extra week and a half of veg in but that'll be all I'll have time for.

I like the 3 gallon pots, your supposed to veg until they show pre-flower. Why? When she shows pre-flower she shows maturity, she's ready to flower. I agree 8-10 week veg time gonna get you a 3 foot plant to go into flower, and about 4+ feet in the flower after she's done elongating.
