Switching from 19-5 to 12-12

I've read alot of people's post and alot vary from giving it no amount of darkness to 12 hours of darkness to 24 hours to 36 hours before switching ...does it matter? Seems like a stupid question but this is just to further my knowledge

I have tried many things and it does not alter the outcome of when they begin bursting pistils i.e. enter flowering mode. The one thing that does matter is enough veg time to begin showing preflowers i.e. a mature veg plant. Typically somewhere after 2 months mine are mature and since I take my clones during veg even if I put them into flower in less than 2 months they still are bursting pistils everywhere in 5 days, all my strains.

Its cool man some on here can be tough. I found a lot depends on what questions are asked and how you ask them. Most on here are very good people with excellent advice so don't get discouraged and keep asking.

I kinda lost the courage to just ask a question without says it's stupid first....every time I seem to say something it turns into a debate on how stupid I am + the question...I literally got 10 PM's by people either dogging me or just being complete assholes on another topic about a few weeks ago

Well my first grow I let it grow to about a foot and a half in veg so if it does push to much in flower it won't be a ridiculous size

I start my mothers before the start of the season for me which is the cooler months in California. By the time I am cloning they are mature and as I was saying it seems to carry over that with only a short veg time they do still show right away for me. But my shortest veg time is at least a month I have to work with ogk in my garden to get it to put out.
