Its been about 10 days , i just got my 1000w mh bulb in the mail and hardwired it all up . how much of an impact is it going to have on their growth if i switch from my 400w straight o 1000w? shock, death, just fine?

Just fine. Start it a little farther away, 3 ft or more, for the first week. Then move it down to 2 ft if heat isn't a problem.

heat is a problem. prolly the only problem i have in my whole setup. im at 75 right now. i built a cage for my iguanas.

wish my digi cam was workin. but all the doors open . and have been totally covered with bubble reflective wrap. and the doors with foil tape . sealed up tight. the 3 areas are all connected. at the bottom is a 75w mh hitting the sprouts. where the 400w is hanging from the steel screen up top and is a sort of hallway reflected all the way down to the plants. would my plants grow at a faster rate ? or more of a quality grow with the 1000w? benefits and disadvantes of switching lighting.

oh and i have a aerogarden secluded in the top right corner. planning on removing the top in a couple days and letting the 400w hit it as it sits on top of the steel screen .
