Switching from dirt to H20

Switching to water after I've been growing in dirt for awhile and I'm kind of lost. I've got supplies from the dirt days and I've bought some more things... 3'x3' ebb and flow tray and a rubbermaid tote(trying to diy like I did before), but I don't know what kind of pump to use(would 280gph be the best or one stronger ). Any kind of help will greatly be appreciated.

Hydroponics is all about the math POPS420......... You ask if you use a 280gph pump if that'd be the best or not. If you want to flood your tray for 15 minutes and its a 30 gallon tray, then that pump would take 280 / 30 = 9.3 minutes to fill up which sounds perfect! :)

Other than that, look up the cap ebb & flow thread here thats a billion pages long, read the entire thing, and you will have NO questions on how to do ANYTHING in Hydro. Every possible general question is answered there........... Either way, if you need help just post thats what we are here for........

Good luck

you should just go for an aeroponics system. Simple to make and it produces awesome plants. If you need help with what supplies to get, you can check out my grow. I wrote down everything i used to make my system.
