Switching from flower back to veg

So I planted two hawaii x skunk 1 in my backyard way late in the season. Only one sprouted and it recieved only about 13 hours of light from seed and probably about 3 weeks of 12/12 but never showed more than very tiny preflowers probably due to the fact that it was so immature. So after realizing it was never gonna finish and probably gonna freeze to death soon I decided to dig it up and bring it inside. Its about 16 inches tall and it was a malnourished mess when I transplanted. Not to mention the fact that the dog was digging in the pot for the 5 minutes I left it unattended before I brought it in. Its been 3 days since and its looking 10 times better. My concern is the stress caused by switching back to veg their on 18/6 right now, I want it to put on some size and grow some side branches for clones. I heard it can cause them to herm what do u guys think.
