I have been highly interested in worm casting teas. Using guanos and organic amendments in aerated water. My biggest problem is my tap water. I was looking for an easy fix and thought like many others fish tank tap water conditioner. Looking further into it I found this: www.pw.ucr.edu/textfiles/PNAS_5189.pdf ; This seems to say that using sodium thiosulfate (the main ingredient in the conditioner) is actually beneficial at removing harmful chemicals from the soil. So it seems like using the teas, sodium thiosulfate, AND chemical nutrients could really all work together. If anybody knows anything more about the subject please do tell. Even if somebody understands the study and I am perceiving it wrong. Just some thoughts.
