T5's and 3 LED Panels, or a 400 HPS? in this cab

The size is 36"H x 34-1/2"W x 17-3/4"D
I will either do a cooltube 400 HPS or T5 fluors and 3 225 panels of LEDS ( one in the back and one on each side ). I will use an inline fan and the cooltube to keep the heat down with the 400 watter but will lose about 8 inches of growing space from the top , but I am attracted to the low profile, and lower heat of the LED's in a smaller space , so will the yield be as good with the flouro led combo and the extra growing room? or should I just do the HPS minus inches?

i go hps only.....very pleased...floros dont penetrate low enough on the plant...imo

wouldn't a 250 HPS work for that space? Kind of a compromise that would probably be more than enough light. You could side light with a few vertically individual T5's if money is not an issue.

that looks a bit small for hps, maybe a 250 hps. HPS definitely gets better yields though.

i think(from what i've read,no personal experience with leds), that you must go with the hps.my cab is similar as yours and i have 250 HPS.bellieve me that the heat is alot.

i can ask you the same question - WTF.you can do both veg and flowering with HPS and i'm 100 % positive about that.check my grow if you want

OK you CAN but is it good to Veg maybe am wrong.but a Red spectrum am sorry i have always thought that red spectrum is best for Flowering red spectrum is not the best for Veg i told him the T5 because u can use the same fixture when i Veg use all blue or blue red mix and when u get in flower switch the bulbs to all red or keep the blue red mix.
plus i think that is a realy little place maybe the T5 does not put out as much lumen's as the HPS but i think there is several benefits with the T5 you can get that the Hps does not provide but am sure this can both ways ... i am a T5 user and i love them. my bud has a hps and its just not my style.

dude its not even a question.go hps conversion 600 light.grab a mh bulb and hps bulb. mh for veg and hps flowering.its always better to have more than less with a light.and get the light air cooled,with the 4 or 6inch opening on each end.you will be happy you got it.get a real light.
