Is it best to water before taking clones or let the mom get a little dry?

Hey jstone1633 my practice is to water the mother prior to cutting a clone. Supplying you have a healthy mother, this will aid that cutting in transitioning and surviving the rooting process

Yup, water! That way your cutting will also be hydrated.
Stopping them dehydrating before they've grown roots is the key cloning imo...
