Talking to your dog

Like the title says, Anybody talk to their dogs as if they were people? I know my dog always accompanies me through the woods when im out growing all season long, Hes the best, he'll be the first to notice anything difference in the woods and alert me like people for instance. So he always stays close to me, I could be out in the bush for the entire day, I need to talk to someone lol and he will listen. Lol im just stoned and was wondering if anybody else talks to their dogs as if they were human. Oh yea my dog is a cross between a malimute and a golden lab, big dog, 150 pounds, lean, mean, rabbit eating machine lol. Love to hear some feedback, happy toking guys.

I take my fur-girl about everywhere. Unlike the human variety which has 9000 words or so a day to spew forth, she sits quietly, wags her tail and is a great listener. Not hard to make her happy and always excited to see you. Sometimes dogs are just the best company.

But then again i talk to my plants, and to myself in the mirror if it's a rough night at the dart boards (sometimes a pep talk helps) and even to random objects such as ATM machines, gas pumps and anything electronic when they're not functioning properly. Then there's traffic lights when you're in a hurry and they don't seem to be in a compliant state. Course the latter are usually not the most polite or PC discussions (think Happy Gilmore).

Not really - cats could care less about our problems, my dogs however are very attentive when we're having a conversation.

i talk to my cat sometimes in meow language, he meows back usually )

I love my dog.
I'm never alone when she sits with me.

lol I even talk to birds that fly by.

My German Shepherd(Sniper) is more human than half the dirtbags up here in the jungle.This will be his 4th year growing.Never leaves my side and is always quiet.Need to teach him to load up in my truck.

nah, all kidding aside, yeah i talk to animals as if they were people. if theyve been around good people for any amount of time, they will understand quite a bit. (depending on the animal lol)

I think people who treat their animal like a human is pretty pathetic. Driving while your dog is on your lap, bringing them to the store.. all gay.

Does anyone else speak for their dog? or cat...

Hes a great listener.

I have a 3 year old Mastiff around 200lbs and he's part of my family.

I talk to him like a child and he listens pretty good, by far the smartest dog I've had in my life.

My wife says I treat him like the son I never had.

Well I have a small dog because I don't have the space for a large one. She loves to ride in my lap and put her head out the window and the only place I take her into is the pet store. If that makes me "all gay" then give me a call sometime. We can out to Brunch.

LOL.. dogs are stupid needy creatures kinda like stoner's. I don't "hate" them I chose not to have one (and be gay).
