Talking to your plants insane?

Folks, I caught myself actually talking and even stroking the leaves on my plant. I swear, I think it has responded and looks even more healthy since I have been doing this for the last week. I talk to it in baby talk and caress the leaves and such. I think I'm nuts. is this crazy and I am into it too much, or do others do this too.

You are not crazy, I talk to my plants all the time. In my gardens outside and inside. They like it. They respond by growing beautiful flowers for us.

i watched the gardeners world on night (channel flicking) and this man had thousands of plants in this big grow farm and he put classical music on for them during the day he says they luv it and i swear them things looked like they were dancing to it lol like happy plants look its to do with the vibration,s he says

think we should try reggie or hip hop with our,s suit them more

actually on mythbusters, they were growing plants, and they had a stereo playing with good nurturing positive talking to the plants over and over, then they had plants with a stereo where it said bad things over and over, and plants with no stereo, the plants with the stereo saying good things ended up growing much healthier, and bigger! I was thinking about doing this if i do an indoor grow!

Its not insane untill the plants start talking back.if the plant tells you to quit stareing,you might have a problem.

I don't think it was the plants that were getting talked to nice that grew big, it was the ones with the loud music. I think the video is on youtube. The girl said the talking plants are committing suicide cause all they hear all day is "i love you", "love you", "love you".

i would also add if during the petting of your female plants you become aroused,this could be cause for alarm.But then again,it might not,ive heard alot of trappers tales.

All plants and flowers love attention, at least mine do. It is almost like you can see them smiling. They stand up straighter and just look happy.
Now this maybe cause I am usually high while in my garden looking and talking to them, but that is what I think. Love and Talk to your plants, they will thank you.

people say the gentle vibrations of the voice and the CO2 from your breath helps... but I think they just get lonely :)

LMAO :) In that case im 5150 cause the other night i think i herd one of them say

"General Hydroponics again! What ever happened to spaghetti night" :o

Talk, talk away. when ever im in my room working for a minimum of 30mins my CO2 ppm will jump at least 100ppm if i have someone helping me it will jump at least 200ppm and if i work for an extensive period of time i can collect almost am extra 300-600ppm just for breathing
