Just like the owner. Tall and lanky. LOL!! They might get a little fatter. I seen some other members on here with amazing yield from autos.

It seems like the smaller of the 2 plants was in veg longer than the other one, if that is the case the bigger plant will yield more bud, the longer you veg them the more they will yield, up untill a point you have to find what works for you.

Buds will continue to grow but the plant is probably done stretching. So don't expect new bud sites or anything.

It's too late to "fix" the plant in the first picture. I usually don't suggest that new growers top or FIM autos, but with this strain that is the biggest thing you can do to cut down on the intermodal distances (aka scrawny). Watch them closely when they are just starting to get some height. You should be looking for plants just like you got. As soon as you can identify a scrawny plant you want to do 2 things. First is to top the plant or FIM if you are comfortable doing that. Removing the top crown early in veg (I know, it's all veg with autos) will prompt the plant to stop growing straight up and concentrate more on becoming shorter and bushier. That's what you want at this point. Second thing you should do is prop the pots up so they are closer to the light. The stretching is usually the result of the plant reaching for more light. Putting them closer to the light source will cut down on the stretching and go a long ways toward solving your problem.

Remember though that all strains develop differently. Just because this auto grow has produced scrawny plants does not mean your next grow will be the same even if all the variables are the same. You need to learn what to look for early in the grow so that you can react in a way that helps the plant to act right.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I understand that it seems like a million variables for the grower to contend with, but like anything, they are manageable if you can focus one on problem at a time. Make a priority list with the most important features on top. I would expect to see things like "shorter, bushier plants" and "increase the number of growing points (bud sites)" near the top of your list. Then set out to improve on the things at the top of the list. For instance -- the first thing one does to get shorter bushier plants is to research the varieties available. Some, like one of my faves Armageddon, rarely grow more than 36 inches at harvest. With that info you know to fit fewer pots under your flower light as the adult plants will be shorter and wider. But most of your successes will be the result of trial and error. Early on I was having trouble getting my clone operation going. My success rate was dismal. Then I forgot to moisten the pellets in the dome one weekend and discovered a million new roots. I had been keeping my jiffy pellets too moist in the dome. {sound of light bulb turning on...}.

Good luck, BigSteve.
