Tap water?

Where I live my tap water is very pure. the PH seems to be around 7 and the TDS is minimal in the 20-50ppm range. I have been letting my water sit for a day before using it. Would it be safe to use right out of the tap? I am concerned about the chlorine. Any input?

just let it sit for 24 hour before you use it and you'll be fine. If the pH is around 7, just make sure you monitor the pH in your grow, cause you want the pH to be 5.5-6.5, but otherwise, go for it.

Just got a air pump and stone. I am going to aerate my nutes for an hour before use. It will add oxygen, evaporate the chlorine, and mix the the nutes into a homogeneous mixture. Thanks for the input.

yes, tap water sucks, regardless of where you live, but as long as you leave it out for 24 hours in an open container with a high surface area itll take care of most problems. pH is the only real issue and if u can monitor and control pH, tap water was works great. Im about 2 weeks away from my 6th harvest and ive never had a problem with tap water. Maybe more experienced guys know more but for a non-commercial grow, your good.
