Picked up a BOGO offer on Brothers Grimm Cinderella Purple testers. It's a cross between Purple Urkel and C99.

Put 2 beans in rapid rooters on 6/17
Day 1 was 6/20
First real leaves this morning on 6/21

The updates will be rather slow moving at first, but I wanted to get the journal started for my record keeping.

**Comments, opinions, and tips are welcome**

6/27 Day 8

Transplanted into 5" pots with coco. I believe they are approximately 1/2 gallon

Added @aridynomyco to both pots

Watered them in with .6ec (385ppm) 5.6-5.7pH MaxiGrow with ArmorSi and CalMag

They are currently under a Linkind 160W full spectrum LED set on 70W about 10" above them. I will see how they react to that and adjust accordingly.

1 gallon RO water
1mL ArmorSi
2mL CalMag
1.15g MaxiGrow
.5mL GH pH down

Off to a good start!! Is there a reason you have the exhaust intake on the floor instead of up top? I've always had my exhaust at the top opening as I figured the hottest air is up there by the light. No real evidence on which is better that I've seen, just using redneck logic. Looking forward to watching them get big.

Yeah. After my gross negligence with the Blueberry Cupcake clones that got out of control and grew all the way to the top of the 6'6" tent, I realized that I couldn't get my light as high as I'd like with the fan and filter up there. So, I tried throwing the filter and fan on the floor on my 3x3 and liked it because the space is kinda dead anyway and I figure if I have enough air flow inside and negative pressure, it should still pull the hot air out without much issue. So far, in the 3x3 tent, I haven't had any issues keeping the heat under 85° at the canopy. The 4x4 tent which is what these little gals are in is vented outside, so that made a huge difference in temps and I don't have any issue keeping that temp below 82°. I really need to figure out an easy way to raise the light and be able to get it all the way to the ceiling. With the mounting cables, it still hangs lower than I'd like. I have the ratchet hangers, but they are a real bitch to get to in the back of the tent when there's a canopy in there. Hell, they're a pain in the ass if there's no plants in there. Lol.

This is the floor in the 3x3 tent with one of the blueberry cupcake plants on 12/12

I was able to ziptie the mounting cable right to the top bar in the 3x3. This is allowing me to run one of those out of control clones. Lol

I don't run a carbon filter so my whole house gets nice and dank at flower time. Without the filter it's way easier to get a big light tight to the top. If I'm pressed for room I just hook carabineers on the supports and hook the light directly to them. Getting to the yoyo hangers in the back is a huge pain for me as well so I usually just set the light as high as I can in the beginning and use the intensity settings to dial in the ppfd for whatever stage they're in. I really need to start venting out of the room at night when the room gets sealed up. It would save a lot of heat building up from the dehumidifier. Maybe when my son comes down for a visit I'll get him to give me a hand with it.

Yeah, I need to pick up some stuff to mount the light directly to the top of the tent. That 640w light even when it was set to 400w or less would get my whole bathroom up to 80+° and it would be 90 or so in the tent. It was brutal. Cutting a hole in the wall was the best choice I've made so far. Haha. That said, I feel like I have to keep the fan on 100% of the time now, because I don't want bugs finding their way in the house. Once I know this setup works as it should, I will most likely replace the rigid flex ducting with solid stuff and put in a good damper or seal of some sort so I have the option of turning off the fan.

That's one change I made today...I have an abandoned chimney that I can vent out of, and I just hooked into it tonight. Save the humidifiers some work....and my chimney snakes like it

I just bought a portable AC recently to get my drying room temps down. I'm thinking about getting one of the window exhaust setups like it uses to run my exhaust out of but need to think about how to keep stuff like bugs and mold spores from getting in when it's not running. I've had the same room and set-up for 5 years and I'm always thinking about exterior venting but just never get to it. Maybe this is the year :bigjoint:
