Temperature and ventilation control

Ok, this is my situation. I am having a hard time controlling my temps, and the light is killer in my room while I'm trying to sleep. Im growing in a 5x5 walk in closet with a 600w HPS. My only ventilation is 2 large fans in the closet, and one blowing air in. I don't think a grow tent or box could work because I can't just run the exhaust air out my bedroom window, it would look pretty sketchy. I really love my 600w, but the conditions in my room suck and I can't fix it.
Can somebody let me know a better option for temp control so I dont have to replace my light? I dont have a lot of room to work with in my apartment. :?
I dont wanna have to drop 600 on a area 51 LED grow light.

Ventilation is moving air in and out of the room. It sounds like you are only blowing air in. You need to do both. If you only have your window to vent out of then you need to use your window. I would consider using a fresca sol water cooled light tube. Be warned that some people dont like these because they can leak which causes all kinds of problems. That being said I have already started buying some fresca sol units to improve the cooling in my room.

So you think I should just go ahead and get a light cooling tube and the intake/outtake systems, then run the exhaust tube out my window? It may vary light to light but do you think I need to replace my whole light because I have a hood, or would the tube just replace the hood on it?

If you are in a area where growing is illegal please don't run the exhaust out the window. It's like a neon sign to any law enforcement with half a fucking brain.

Well you would have to duct out the heat from your hood and have fresh air entering. Blowing hot air out of your window, though ideal, is just out of the question. Living in a apartment complicates things further seeing as you can't cut a hole in the roof to vent into the attic. Perhaps get yourself a tent and leave the door open and run ducting into the ajoining room? I'd hang a filter and a 150+CFM fan. I did this exact thing in my former home, but I didn't have near the lights you do. Sending the heat into the next room was enough for it to dissipate, and with the A/C on worked really well.

If that don't work to bring your temps down then perhaps you should reconsider the LED route.

get a good fan that cover your 5x5 area cover up your window exhaust it out though your window just make sure nothing is showing from outside and if your have a filter on the exhaust fan there is no light going out side and it should be just fine

I know you say running ventilation out your room is sketchy but I've done this before lol. But you could get a can fan and a can filter 33. Also get one of those stupid little side by side dual window fans for like 20$. Put the fan in the window close the window. Then to the outside it just looks like a window fan make sure the blinds are closed and they stop at where the fan starts so if you go outside and look all you see is blinds and a fan in the window. Take cardboard cover the entire window tape it on over the blinds and everything. Now from outside it just looks like a window with a fan and is completely dark so people can't see the lights inside. Now cut a hole in the cardboard for your 6 inch ducting stuff it in the hole ant tach other end to filter and can. Turn it all on and there you go. (Including the window fan) lol.
