Temperature at night !

At what temp the plant slows its growth? In my growroom, the temperature at night drops to 15C (60F) approx. And the humidity remains high, like 60%... Is this too cold for my plants? Should I raise the temp a bit to ensure the optimum grow speed? should it be drier at night and more humidity during the day with my 400W HPS, wich raise the temp to 80F...

i got a wild temperature swing. Upper 80's or more with lights and then mid to upper 50's during dark. Didnt seem to affect them though. I keep my humidity very low. 40% during veg and 30s during flower

the optimal temp for veg is anywhere from 80-86F. growth starts to slow once it passes the 90F mark. At night, instead of using a heater, can't you use your 400w hps to heat the room up? Unless there are light leaks and may create suspicion. In terms of humidity, for veg I like to keep it high at around 60-80 so the plant can use some of the water in the air, but while it's flowering bring it down to 40 to avoid mold.

.......yes, your fine at 60 degrees at dark-cycle(I even get in the 50's right now and they love that more than the heat.....). 82-85 is my max when the ac takes over in the summer, but have had complete grow where it hit 90 every day and you do see a slight difference, though everyone says 90 is the point of stress: I wouldn't go higher.
I 'd say your pushing your luck at 60%RH in the dark cycle....though I am right there myself.....early in veg with good ventilation should be okay......but once you get mold...... In flower I bring in the de-humidifier and keep it under 40%.

My guess is that you have ventilation issues?? Are you is your room sealed?? Assuming not; unless you live in a rain forest with 90% RH, you should be able to control it with ventilation.

You're right, I need more Vent... I only have a small fan and I'm growing in a room in the corner with my computer the other side. I have a GirlFriend, there's rules, the setup must be simple, Aesthetic and clean hehe I added many other plants to make it beautiful looking at...

-----I hear you, that's for sure('bout the gf)haha..... There really are a lot of cool ways to grow like that though(stealth); I just always seem to start in the corner and end up taking over the room, and that's not enough......it got to where now I only clone/veg at home.
So in saying that, your much better off to get a plan and stick to it, better it, make the most of it..... Like in one of those cab deals, this is how much room I have to work with; what makes it most efficient.......bla bla......
I just enjoy growing it so much....and I dont mean commercially-------it just helps be self sustaining, take that as you wish.....and the economy doesn't seem to be effecting this in the least....

I'm an ex-smoker since 7 years but still addict to the grow! the weed is for the GF, she loves my organic one but this time it's not going to be organic but more stronger and with better strain for the yield and potency I've been growing Chronic and Westernwind for almost 10years and now I needed a bit of new stuff in my growroom

Thanks a lot MaDz!! I was the same......didn't smoke until just 4-5 months ago, though I 've pretty much always had something growing. I smoked in school, years ago...... Then had to stop drinking here just over a year ago(liver) and tried smoking but got too high.....paranioa..... I drank a 1/5 a day for 20 yrs(100proof vodka--cheap shit)----kind of hard to replace it. So I keep smoking more and more weed and getting real used to it and it helps sleep, among many other things......so you get real strain picky, you know......'let's smoke a bowl of this and compare it to this..' I dont even light the bowl twice anymore.....got to be fresh --haha
Oh, and shit, the time I spend with my plants is much better than the bars; and I buy fancy shit for the grow at times and it's cheaper than the bars too
