right now i am running a 400w hps wiht a hood and one 6'' fan with 160 cfm's for exhuast

the temp stays at 85-92 never higher then 92.1 goes down to 72 or so at night.

even with a 4'' high volocity fan for exhuast and moving 6''a to intake i dont think it will go down to lower then 85 , so how hot is really too hot

ive looked for a good minute and it seems to me it gets to 100 outside in the summer here no problem and i dont tihnk the plants dies b/c of it

everyone says 76-79 is ideal for best growth but is substaning 85-88 going to ruin my yeild ?

Is this the ambient temp or temp under the light? Make sure your thermometer is in the shade.

Do you have an oscillating fan? it helps. Try an 18" eco plus wall fan. Their powerful and cheap. like 50 bucks

i have a 15 in fan in there already

would a tent inside my closet cut down on my heat issue
No I think that would make it worse. Less space would be more heat buildup from your bulb, but it would also be less air volume for your fans to deal with. hmmmmmm
I still think it would make it worse.
