HAd a tent off ebay (I know I shouldn't have bought it there, but I was just being dumb), it stood fine until I got my ducting set up for inline fan, after 30 min one of the support bars collapsed under pressure.

I am looking for a 4x4x6 tent or even a 3x3x6.

Please link any QUALITY tents that you have had experience with or know someone with, or would it be better to just get one from my local hydro store? I have a few including a htgsupply near me.

You could always your own for a fraction of the cost. Use either 2"x3"s, 1.5" PVC and a bunch of Panda poly. That, and a couple rolls of duct tape, and maybe some adhesive Velcro patches to fashion a door. Then it would be the exact dimensions you need it to be.

Would rather just buy one that I know I will get use out of, and honestly I should be able to pull at least 4 if not 8 OZ off of the 400W light my friend is letting me borrow, so it would pay for itself after 1st harvest. Also, I will be able to go perpetual then, potentially increasing the value of the tent (in my opinion).

Plus it's nice having all the zippers and venting ports built in. I've already MacGyver'ed enough in the past 5 years of fucking around with growing, I would really like to get serious about it now.

And does anyone know if the ArgoMax tents are any good? They seem to be built 10x better than my current one, and only $90 more.

i hate tents because the walls suck in from your exhaust, you couldn't find a way to build a legit room?
there's this reflective bubble wrap stuff used for insulation that you can put velcro on and turn into a roll-up door. I did this in my closet and it worked great... alls i did was frame in the door with an exhaust up top and intake on the bottom, and after that i sealed the frame up so that there was just the spot for my roll up door. Now its just a matter of rolling it up and it cost me less than 30$ for the reflective bubble wrap and then a staple gun and 2x4's (3$/8ft length)

plus if anything breaks i can just fix it ! :-D

not dogging on the gorilla tent though!! it looks nice, i understand you're willing to pay for quality and easy!
just wanted to letcha know it may also be a lot cheaper to build it, and build it good.. if accessibilty is an issue try multiple doors.

i do really like the spill tray though, but don't quite get that it's reflective, maybe so you can see if it gets moldy from spillage? the reflective may encourage the mold but at least you'd catch it.

and also the pre filter is something i put on my stuff, be careful of theirs if it gets dirty your gonna have to clean it with a brush or something

wouldnt it be better to have a "media cabinet" with an easily disposable 1$ filter you change every month on your intake?

just saying you can get this tent and im sure it'll work great, or you could buy materials and build multiple tents, or more lighting..

The standard seems to be secret jardin and gorilla. I have a sun hut which is strong with metal bars and joints, but one of the zippers comes off the track if I'm not careful, and there are pinhole light leaks.

Are those pinhole light leaks enough to affect flowering plants if my veg area isn't completely sealed? The one I have has them too, but I didn't see any light inside when I had it completely closed.

I'm in an apartment currently so building a room isn't really possible, just making use of a empty room. I may end up going with a secret jardin, these decisions are hard.....

By the way, the walls sucking in isn't really a bad thing, I'm pretty sure (not 100%) it just means you're taking more air out than it is letting in, but also effectively moving the exhausted air out of the tent and through the carbon filter if you're using one.
