Tents and vents.......and everything else......

Recently I've added a 4x8x7 tent with 2 1k XXXL hoods to my grow area (actually it is my grow area now) to what I had going prior. Previously, I was running a 4x4 tent with a 1k light and used a single 6 inch inline fan to vent the light as well hooked up to a carbon filter for odor, and it worked decent enough to not worry about smell and it cooled my light as well.

Since then I picked up the 4x8, 2 more 6" fans (3 total) another carbon filter (2 total) 2 more 1k lights (only using 2) and an 8" inline fan. I have the 4x8 running with 2 1k lights with 1 6 inch fan pulling air out and the other pushing air through both lights and then vented out of my space.

I just got the 8" fan and I want to use that to run a 8" main trunk line then throwing a 8x6x6 double wye to pick up the lights.

Now the question part... which is the better way to do this, I want to use this trunk line to vent my hoods and pull the added heat out of my tent as well at the same time, so my plan was to setup thiss 4x8 the same way I did my 4x4, by using 1 6 inch fan per light and then attaching the other side of the hood to my carbon filters, just doing it x2 in my bigger tent, now is this the most efficient way to do this? Or should I be doing the lights straight off the 8inch main and then just leave 1 side of the light open (or take the glass off and just run it like that??) and put my carbon filters straight to the 6" fans in side the tent, basically where I was going to mount them as it is except just blowing air around in my tent rather than hooked to the main.

My worry is letting the "scented" air out as well, but I also have read in a place or 2 that the lights let off more lumens if you take the glass out....something to that effect...

My basic goal here (as it would be with anyone I'd hope) is to maximize efficiency best I can using as little as possible as well as giving my plants as much light as possible, at the lowest temp possible (a lot of possibles there) without A/C which I have just managed to stop using by changing a light schedule as well as adding that 2nd fan to push as well as the other pulling due to the long run to get out of the space (roughly 25 feet).

If theres anymore info I should provide please let me know and thanks to anyone who can drop a little info.
