Good luck! The bad thing - which is quite common, alas - is that you read stuff and then set it up - end of story. You should never stop reading. There's a ton of information here and out there. Yeah, it can be a lot to absorb and it can be confusing. For that, you just have to dive in. Read some stickies, Google some articles, watch some videos. Hell - I even bought a book, but I think I may be in the minority.

I see too many posts asking, "Is this right," or "what am I doing wrong," or "how do I do this?" - but what they are really asking is growing 101 - which is covered extensively in the stickies, videos, etc. I mentioned. People ask for details, and they just give a few, having no clue of all the basic details - from light to grow medium, and from pH to ppm.

So, welcome - come chat, ask questions, and whatever. But please feel free to take advantage of the wealth of basic information RIU members have already provide us newbies!
