testing a new grow technique ...

ok, this is hopefully to increase resin production along with increasing yield...
the idea is simple, to essentially tie the fan leaves together.
the plant im testing is a skunk #1.

firstly i lst'd and untied it 1 week into flower, this causes more branching at a younger age then that transfers into bud production almost instantly, then tied back the fan leaves on a branch, defoliation on one branch, normal growth on one branch, then normal lst one another....

im watching for any differences in growth appearance, weight, smell, resin glands.
right now she is about 1.5 weeks in flower and smells like a dead skunk....
ill have pics in a few hours

Pics..... and this idea is absurd. where did you come up with this low yield concept?
not low yield by any means its basic biology, increasing bud site light on a heavy branching female without harming said plant... i know from the past lst works because i have done it both indoors, along with outdoors. i know defoliation works better then just letting them grow so thats two, and 3rd the control, im not expecting exact results but enough to get an idea the nrun a full trial with my next runin summer on a larger scale with best yielding branch, with all variables accounted for,, i should add that it was super cropped as well i always super crop for the fact it makes nice fat colas :D

simply bending down the apexes as they begin to out compete the others will keep increasing bud sites. clamping fan leaves together will only reduce photosynthesis. I'm not an advocate of defoliation, many are, more aren't.

will be following to see breakthrough innovations unseen before in 100s of years in horticulture study. experiments are kool, cheers!

Use a butter knife to pop it up and rinse it out dude, -most- keyboards come apart and reassemble quite easily.

Really cool idea, not sure just doing it on a part of a plant will really be a serious way to try this though. Are all of the areas receiving the exact same amount of light, air movement, etc?

Use the onscreen keyboard for space bar? Or snatch one from goodwill for 5 bucks? It's funny reading those posts cause in my brain it stops before every word.
