House Bill 758 Receives Hearing!

Dear NORML Supporter:

NORML is pleased to announce that House Bill 758, an act to reclassify possession of less than one ounce of marijuana from a Class B misdemeanor to a Class C misdemeanor, will be heard by the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence on Tuesday, March 20, at 2pm. If enacted, this measure would remove the threat of incarceration for minor marijuana offenders. The legislative hearing will be in Room E2016 of the State Capitol Building. Directions to the State Capitol are available online at: 30.274722,-97.740556 - Google Maps. If you can not attend this hearing in person, please contact your state Representative and members of the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence now and urge them to support HB 758, and tell them that law enforcement should stop wasting taxpayers' dollars arresting and jailing minor marijuana offenders.

its like that in texas now well since the beg. of 07 the first bill want through, 1oz is a mis C, 2oz is a mis B, a QP is now a mis A. i thought it was a national bill. (bong hit to the brain) and for Jesus
