Texas "clock" t*rd leaving the country

I remember reading about how he was known for tinkering around with electronics, and how he brought these to school a bunch of times, or like how he repurposed a remote to control the projector in his class. I was also reading how the police said the 'investigation determined the student apparently did not intend to cause alarm bringing the device to school.' Even the Dallas Morning News said, "No theory that The News has reviewed cites any evidence that Ahmed, who routinely brought electronic creations to his middle school and said he wanted to impress high school teachers, planned to get handcuffed and hit the news."

He should've never been put in cuffs, he should've never been arrested. That English teacher is a complete and utter moron. Were I teacher and a kid brought that in, I'd look at it and go, "Oh wow. It's a clock in a pencil case. Cool story bro. Sit back down," not go, "OH MY GOD IT LOOKS LIKE A BOMB SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE."

I mean, his father isn't even a hard line Muslim. He's a moderate Muslim. If I were them I'd want to be done with this country too. The amount of racist hate that runs around the internet about him is absolutely staggering, I really don't blame them for leaving the country.

Anybody ever read about how he was known for tinkering around with electronics? So we have the police saying 1) It wasn't meant to be a hoax we have 2) the person who did it not saying it wasn't meant to be a bomb hoax 3) Every news source in the local area saying it wasn't suppose to be a bomb hoax. So in the face of all this overwhelming evidence, it had to have been a hoax, right? He planned to bomb the school with his little jihadi agenda? And his jihadi father who put it up to him so he could, get what, a visit to the White House and tuition? And CAIR must've been on it, with the Muslim Brotherhood?

He should've never been put in cuffs, he should've never been arrested. That English teacher is a complete and utter moron. Were I teacher and a kid brought that in, I'd look at it and go, "Oh wow. What a bunch of bullshit. He didn't "build" shit, he took apart a clock and (kind of) put it back together in a case that served no purpose other than to add to the suspiciousness of the package. I say well done for the arrest and fuck off to the father who obviously put him up to it.

"Father who obviously put him up to it" let's just ignore how one of his classmates said that Ahmed was known for tinkering around with electronics, often bringing in things he repurposed and/or made to school.

I'm sure your low brow opinion is so much more valid than the police, students, and news in the area.

lol at screaming racist

A 9 year old got suspended for biting his pop-tart into the shape of a gun.

A 6 year old got suspended for pointing a finger and saying bang.

zero tolerance policies is what happened here. I am actually impressed the first few teachers had enough sense to ignore the policy but can you imagine if this happened in California? The poor kid would be in mandatory counseling now.

I read the cop said something along the lines of it figures it would be him. The cop needs to explain that. There is no movement on Facebook to remove the cop though, why is that?

btw, he was never arrested but I'll agree the cuffs were way over the top. Again, nobody is saying shit to the cop about it and I don't know why. He's the only person in the story you might be able to yell racist at but there's only speculation at that.

I do think though that him being Muslim + something that looks like it could be a bomb = OMG IT'S A BOMB, or at the very least it was a contributing factor. I somehow doubt that it would've gone the same way were he white. That being said, it is Texas lol. But I do agree with the zero tolerance policies as well, and I think the administration is a little more at fault than the police.

I think because we are so afraid to not be politically correct is what let this thing escalate as far as it did. Zero tolerance has many kids in trouble over much less harmless things.

I can't believe a teacher didn't just straight up tell him what an idiot he was being. "Nice clock kid, but wth are you thinking? you know that's against the rules, and you are a Muslim kid in a school district with a mayor running on no sharia law" "It's a shame, but it is what it is, you can't do shit like that, use some sense son, you don't bring in something that sketchy the week of 9/11, especially as a Muslim". We might not like it, and we can wish it weren't that way, but it is and somebody needed to let that kid know what's up.

My thoughts are is the kid DID know what was up and his family put him up to it. I got that from what Mark Cuban said (watch Bill Maher show) about when he talked to him. It's an easy thing to find if you care.

There was one cop who reportedly said something along the lines of figures it would be him or something and is the same cop that put him in cuffs. Any reasons why there hasn't been a movement to crucify this cop yet? If the kid had shot at him first we'd be calling for the cops head.

Maybe it was the way he acted when asked about it. Or it going off in class? or maybe the youtube video he made were he acknowledged it kinda looked suspicious?

Maybe he got sick of being taunted for being a Muslim and thought he would show them what real fear was.
Clockmed didn't invent anything. His level of creation is less than what I was doing with electronics at the age of 10

Maybe you're right, I certainly don't think it unintentionally looked like a bomb. Either way, it was handled properly and he got himself a nice scholarship in a distant land...everyone wins.

There is a zero tolerance policy on bombs and bomb hoaxes in that school district.

Damn those teachers following policy...

Should they ignore policy and teach bullshit like creationism instead of evolution if they feel like it too?

Not saying they should teach the bullshit, but they should definitely ignore the zero tolerance idiocy. Liberal logic on full display here.

Let's be honest, which looks more threatening, the clock or the pop-tart?

That's not called following policy, that's called having a complete lack of common sense.

On can still adhere to a policy without being retarded.

I would be embarrassed if I were one of those who actually think the kid wasn't really trolling.

Its called " common sense" I'm not surprised this went down in shitkickerville Texas.

Saudi Arabia flew planes into a building 15 years ago... I know the government wants you to be scared of the boogey man Muslim..but cmon.. This is absurd.

Its like when I go into a store to buy some cigarettes or beer and some dumb bitch asks for my I.D.

I'm 37 and old enough to be her Daddy.

you got proof behind that ??? tey flew planes into ?? i mean one can only decipher how much is BS and true in todays censored news
Don't forget Iraq had weapons of mass destruction all over the news did they ?? when a serious crime has taken place how long is the place locked down and investigated ?? and how long did it take for the US Government to clean up or get rid of any evidence before it could be really examined ? do you not find it ironic ?? i mean some of the countries most important people were not even there ??? when it happened
Will we ever know who really did it ?? i mean lets face it Your goverenment is brain washing you daily with news media coverage and this is the american dream hiding from actual truth..
Your Government has you all figured out and know your push overs when it comes to 911 funny how it was automatically determined they did it lol

You know, when 911 happened people sat on the planes and ran into a building. One of the planes crashed because the passengers found out what was happening and fought back. Since then, there have been several would be terrorists who have attempted to do stupid shit on a plane. They failed because those around them reacted to a threat. You seem to be the guy who will just stand there and take one in the head. Better you than me.

You are really dense if ya think that... I would have been out of seat when I saw a box cutter..I would have beaten that guy to death when he cut that woman with it.

Of course any crazy fanatic is going to be beaten by a mob of passengers if he gets dumb on an airplane.. That's why its fucking ridiculous to have all this stupid ass rules...

The Airlines made a knee jerk reaction(dumb) it only raised prices and brought efficiency to a crawl.

Now the cockpits are grenade proof and the crazy fuck ya gotta worry about is the pilot.

Locking the cockpit door would have stopped 9/11 in it's tracks. Arming the pilot stops anyone getting through the door.

We've done both now. The rest of the stuff was just white noise "for our own good" government gonna government stuff.
