hey to all my fellow texans, i had a sprout pop up earlier this spring, it's about 3' tall now. i was wondering when should i start seeing the sex? this is the longest i've ever let an outside plant go. i usually get parinoid and put them in the compost pile.

gonna depend on the strain, but they should start preflowering soon unless it's way Sativa.

Hello...im new to the website and im lovin it so far...i am a new outdoor grower near Houston and planted my germinated seeds straight into the ground June 9th and all are a foot tall give or take...i was wondering if i planted too late and if not when to expect flowering..
Thanx all feedback is appreciated!

it's a blue mystic/ northern light mix so that would make it indica dominant. she's out in the wide open getting every minute of sun and getting water from the run off from the hen house with a scoop of rabbit pellets dressed around it like mulch.

na your fine they wont start flowering untill the fall, During this time of year , your plants will be vegging, come fall they will start to flower as our sun light changes to 12 hours a day. only then they will flower.

Kinda depends. I used to run an Afghani that would flower at 14 hour light/10 hours dark...it would even finish at 14. 12/12 is an approximation of the natural flowering trigger. Some thai (and other equitoral sats) won't flower fully unless the light dips to 11 or less. cut man is right though you have time...the days are just starting to shorten. kevin, sounds sweet just don't over N them, it might delay the flowering.

LOL yer from fuckin' DC! WTF do you know!? ;)

that is the FIRST time i've heard that bout torchy's and i've sent at least ten people there. Then again, i've never been to the "suburban" location. and you said you don't like Tex-Mex...but it's Mex not tex mex. Manuel's mole is to die for! Fonda San Miguel is the institution in town for interior Mex....but i think it blows.
Haha you got me on that one PlantMan!

No I'm sure you're right, like you say I'm not from TX and I don't really know the good spots around here.

The funny thing is though in the DC area we have El Salvadorean, Venezuelan, Peruvian, Brazilian, and more...on top of Mexican (interior, not Tex-Mex). And the prices are half what they are around here, and the food is killer. Dirt cheap, big plates, and to die for authentic cuisine. I mean, there's always the big chain places, but anybody that knows anything steers clear of them.

I've been eating at different places around Austin for 3 years now and haven't found anything that even comes close.

I know this isnt the right place to post about this question, but I live in texas so I figured maybe somebody has some experience with fields here. Im planning on going shrooming tonight since it has been raining off and on the last couple days. The humidity has been steadily high for a few days. I do know how to identify the mushrooms, and all that. My question is..is it still good to go shrooming even though its sprinkling and raining off and on today? I know mushrooms are made mostly of water, and its not raining hard enough to mess up the Mycelium I wouldnt think. I just wanted a few opinions first before wasting my time..I would think that if there are mushrooms out there before this rain today, that they would still be there. Your opinion would be appreciated.

What's up everybody? I just made an account but have been following for awhile... Anyways I have a question about some bus going around that they call popcorn. I have five lil seedlings of some popcorn bagseed goin right now and am curious to know what strain or even species (indica/sativa) it is and would love some input.

In regards to the guy wantin to go shroomin: I've always waited until a half hour maybe an hour b4 sunrise if I'm gathering natural ones.

dude on the shrooms.....go early morning...6 or 7....if there was alot of rain then a good couple hours of sunlight, go grab them caps.. i found the best time is when theres a full day of sunlight and it rains around 3 to 6 in the afternoon, then sunlight comes out again and humidity comes back for a few hours then dark..that morning around 6 is best time.. ive found copper tops bigger than my hand and they grew in just one night...also, you can grow ur own and its alot easier and safer than havin someone chase u with a 12 gauge lol just need a small plastic kiddy pool, cow shit(cows that ate greens not hay or feed) laminent paper and a few good sized caps o and a 5 gallon bucket. press tha caps onto the clear paper to make a print of the skirt on the paper(take the stem off b4 pressing).. take a 5 gallon bucket and run water on the paper u put the prints on and make sure u catch all the water with the bucket comin off the paper. do about 3-4 sheets with at least 3-4 prints on each one... spread tha shit in tha pool, water with the spore infested water and watch them babies grow!! ive missed a few lil details but u can always learn how to grow them by google lol
hope that was helpful....TEXAS GROWERS FA SHO!! galveston to houston, austin to dallas... we b tha best!! fuck tha north, west, and tha east...THA SOUTH DONT PLAY
