"FLY Like A Beagle" thinks it's just fine for a repeat felon to sell a 1/4 lb near a school.....

So much for his judgment....

#1. He wasnt selling anything.

#2. It wasnt a school, it was a daycare.

#3. Your ability to survive this long with such a mental handicap is a marvel of nature.

This stuff is sad but it wont change unless you call your local politicians and Governors, etc....hound them to stop this shit, this is rediculous. The judge needs to be put to death, 35 years for this? This is worth killing people to change!

Your head is so far up your republican ass you cant see, cracker started the attacks. Maybe you two should get a room.
Sorry, I'm not a republican, get your facts straight before you go insulting people. Perhaps you and Fly Like an Eagle should get the room since you guys seem to share so many common interests. :hump:

Here are the posts that got it all started. As you can see, Fly started the attacks by calling CJ a "clueless idiot".

Is that a felony?

Are you lucid?

Or do you just like to make up stuff to argue about....
This is the post right before Fly calls CJ a "clueless idiot". Show me what you consider to be an attack. He asks 3 valid questions and didn't even call anybody any names. Learn to read bro. You are embarrassing yourself. ;-)

I'm debating with a clueless idiot.
..........and finally, the attacks begin. I am not that smart but I can read. :-P

He brought it upon himself.... he's no victim.
He could have been smarter I'll agree. The root cause of his problem isn't his judgement though, its that a JUDGE enforced a horrible law. He is a victim of that horrible law. The law must change.

If a good looking woman goes through a "bad" neighborhood late at night she is using bad judgement. She by no means deserves to be raped though. If she is raped, she is a VICTIM.

In a lot of cases, judges and juries hands are tied with mandatory minimum sentencing and habitual offender laws. :weed:

Then we need to untie them.

The penalty in TEXAS that I found was 2 years. He must have fallen victim to a 3 strikes law or something. Jurors can always choose to acquit, but most are intimidated by the judge.

I posted info on "fija" above. It is a way for jurors or "the people" to take back some of our rights. Please check it out.

Fully informed jurors rights...read and spread the word!

I'm sorry, what's the horrible law? Drug free zones around kids? I'm for that one.

That guy did use poor judgment and it is EXACTLY that which got him in hot water to begin with.

So quick to dismiss personal responsibility.

Not like this guy is a nooby babe in the woods.

Let's just face some truths here. Not everyone who smokes weed is a great person. Most are though, just like most segments of the population.

Weed isn't pixie dust..... and not everyone is a victim of the system. This guy certainly ISN'T.

What's the horrible law? A man was sentenced to 35 years, thirty-five fucking years for plant matter....HELLO???
He could have assaulted somebody, arguably even murdered somebody and gotten less time. The nature of his crime was "victimless".

Where is the victim he perpetrated his "crime" against? Can you answer that?

Drug laws within 1,000 feet of schools? So if he were 999 feet from a school some horrible thing will happen, that magically will not happen at 1,001 feet?
How many liquor stores do you think are within that 1,000 feet? How many pharmacies that sell "pixie dust" ?

Do you maintain he deserves the sentence somehow? Is that what you would have given him if you were the judge? Tell me what you would have done.

The worst thing you can do to a person is take away their liberty. There is NO excuse to do that to somebody that hasn't harmed another.

You declare I'm so quick to dismiss personal responsibilty. I don't think you
have read enough of my 1,000 posts plus here. I'm thinking I'm one of the main proponents of personal responsibility and liberty here.

So please step up and answer a direct question or two.

What would you have done to this man if you could decide his fate?

Who did he victimize?

He was sentenced for more than 4 ounces but less than 5 pounds. If I'm missing something, please point it out.

So again, are you okay with him getting 35 years? What would you have given him?
