Querkle at 48 days 12/12. Vegged 52 days, topped once and LST on 4 main colas. They stand at about 28"-30", after bending.
I should name it Bristol because the little slut is knocked-up. (One bud, with Vortex male)

I must say, I have enjoyed TGA genetics. I ran JTR a couple years back and it became my favorite smoke.

I am now running Apollo 13 and have seen two phenos out of 1/2 a sack of seeds. One is very chunky, with stringy stems that will require support if grown properly and with solid buds that have fat calyxes an pink pistils that remind me of a well grown super skunk. It has a lime green color and outstanding bag appeal. I took one sample a week ago and have dried it sufficiently to smoke a puff. I won't speak to the flavor just yet, as the nug (actually a sacrificed cola due to my clumsy ass) hasn't been allowed a proper cure. I'll tell you, I took a medium sized puff out of my bubbler and was ripped. Kudos Subcool - I like A13 just as much as JTR. I can't wait to try this in another couple weeks.

The second pheno is much hairier, not as solid, however with cola's that are longer, more filled colas rather than the chunky bud in pheno 1. Pheno 2 has smaller haze-like calyxes and an oh-so-gooey and spongy texture. A sample of this pheno is drying now. I will "test" it sunday night.

all in all, I have just sprouted the other half of A13 seeds, and ordered another sack as this one will inevitably be a keeper for my garden. I am also pretty confident that there is a pheno in there that is nice yielding... time will tell. I will sprout all the other beans as soon as I receive them.

Apollo 13 Bx = JOB WELL DONE

cheers

My Querkle in week 7(last week), growth seems kind of slow so I think I'll flower a little longer.
They don't look nearly as good as the previous post, but I figured I'd spread the Querkle love and post some of my shots!:joint::hump:
Those look really sticky- bet you're happy! What flavor/smell do you get from it?

Damn Barrelhse - those Querkles look sweet! Do you know how tall they were when you switch to flower? I've got some at about 60 days (from first breaking ground) and I'm trying to decided when to flip the switch. Thanks, Medshed.

Because of all the training I'm not sure of the height, but I think it stood around 16 or 18", and about doubled when it went in. I had some weights on the main colas to open up the middle, too, makes quite a canopy. This one was topped, I'm running a clone of it now at day 50 from cut.. It's getting LST, not topped, to see the difference. Stands 15" bent over. The one in flower is at day 51 and is finishing fast- hairs going orange and beautiful rosettes are fattening up the buds. I can see the change each time i go down to the garden, with the lower tops going from pointed to round, and turning purple on the tips of the calyxes. The trichs are mostly cloudy with some amber, but it seems early. I'll check it at 8 weeks and decide what to do. Here's a pic from Dec.30.

amazing pictures man, quite an inspiration for me! I posted my shots a post or two after yours. Reason being for the quote, my Querkles are a couple days older than yours and don't look nearly as good. Am I possibly doing something wrong here? By the way, when do you harvest? I'd really like to see an update when your finished, mine should be done shortly after, but clearly, yours are just beasts xD

And they're very musty and fruity Barrelhse just noticed you asked
I don't do anything special; in fact, I do as little as possible. I grow in dirt and have had great success with Pro-mix. This Querkle drinks a lot more water than my other plants and I really have to keep an eye on that. My grow room is very cold at night, too, which helps them purple. The smell has always been banana-like, my New Year"s (B'day!) taste was maybe a little grape, but with a kind of Haze taste to it. I expect a lot to change , though, between now and a couple of wks after harvest.
I'll take pics soon.

took a quick shot of my querkle today. 34 days of 12/12. this one will definitely be a keeper for me, she is dripping with resin and smells like those cherry chewy fruit snacks.
