I only use pro mix for cuttings and seedlings. I put the clear cup into the colored cup to help protect roots from light. Don't have to take out of cup to see when ya get roots. Vita Grow. Clean/new razor blade and an old dirty pair of scirrors I have layin' around.
Thats a good idea have them in a clear cup and then in a red cup so u can look at the roots, awesome idea

I don't know of anywhere - super soil is relatively expensive for soil and cost of shipping is high it's not really cost effective to ship individual amounts of soil. They will send anywhere if you are willing to order a pallet (i think roughly $5k) worth :) Your best bet is to order a charge pack or get the ingredients and make it yourself

your best bet is to try and talk a local hydro store into ordering it for you. i am working on the one here there is only one place in the state i'm in that i know of that has it (a 2.5 hr drive away...)

im pretty positive youre supposed to mix 15 cubic feet of your base soil which (each bag 1.5cf) = 10 bags + 50-60 pounds of worm castings

it says that in the first sentence of the mixing instructions on TGAsupersoil.com

im using Super Soil made with the charge pack and its looking amazing. Im comparing SS i made myself to the TGA Charge Pack all with Roots Organic as the base.

I would use TGA Base Soil but its not available by me yet. If you would like to get the charge pack yourself, http://tgasupersoil.com/products/tga-fertilizer-mix.html

i just remember being told his bags of super soil are 100 dollars and thats what im looking for
theres one store i know of that sells premixed TGA supersoil in my state, its a 4hour drive for me, but its at a hydro shop right outside of denver. theyre selling it around like $42 per bag(1.5cf). the charge pack is $100 if you order it from the website. dont pay $100 for just a bag of SS

Still, 15 cubic feet of soil is a lot. Some people in apartments, confined living conditions, cannot do this easily.
Couldn't you just mix everything but the soil, then dole it out at a ratio for whatever sized pot youre using?

What kind of soil are you using at 30 bucks a bag? I get my roots for 16 plus tax....
Roots where I'm at costs $25/bag... you are probably a lot closer to whereever it gets made than I am.

It's gotta sit for a month in an enclosed container, so...? I started my first SS run living in an apartment. You can pretty easily do 1/4 of the recipe in two trash cans on a pretty standard sized porch. Well not that easily, but it can be done :) Definitely not as easy as mixing it in a big ass fish pond like I do now :) I gotta make some today for that matter..

I've been told here that's what it's gonna cost ($100 per bag)... pretty pricey if true

Just a quick question:

been veggin the apollo 13 on the left under a t5 in a closet(Temps 78-82day 65-75night)40-50%RH
been veggin the space dawg on the right under a 600w MH in a 8x12 shed.(Temps 75-82day 65-75night)40-50%RH

They have been getting same RO water with GO Cal Mag+ added every watering. Ph water to 6.5 everytime and both are in 3 gallon pots in supersoil.
Not just the spacedawg but other strains in the 8x12 room have exhibited the same new lime/yellow new skinny growth. But some of the same strains in the T5 closet are nice a green. Just wanted to seek some advice from the best because Im tired of searching and finding no solid answers!

Also I have been watering when the plants look like they need it or pot is real light.
