Ok here is a new grow for every one asking if I am still around. I am going to take a group of 6" tall newly rooted clones of DarkStar into 12/12 with the EC levels starting at 4.2.

My water pH will swing between 5.2 to 6.5 and the water temps will be around 65F.

As we can see I am doing a couple of things against the normal accepted practices of growing weed.

1. I am going to let my pH swing more than most would like.
2. I am starting out my clones at an 4.2 EC most claim will kill the newly rooted clones.
3. I do not use Co2 at all.
4. I will do this whole grow organically, this is a first for me.

My nutrient line up this time around is Old Age Organics.
Liquid soil A & B
Humic 12
Protek
Sweet
Home made Mycorrhizal using only 4 species. Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae, Glomus aggregatum, Glomus etunicatum. I have found that this work the best in water and soil. I have 220 props per gram.

Here are the pictures of the plants on 01/15/2011

Ok here is a batch of pictures of the DarkStar at the end of 7 days from the start of 12/12, i am still running an EC around 4.0 and my pH is around 5.2 to 6.2 on any given day. Water temps around 65f to 69f.

As you can see they have grown quit a bit in 7 days from a clone to a real plant.

I tried to send you a pm but saids I do not have the proper permission todo so.
I wanted to know what you averaged per plant and how many lights did you run?
does this strain like a higher ppm?
I have mine in 7gal pots I got them in there late but started 12/12 at 4.5 5ft tall
How should it be maintained? a few tops and trim the bottom?
When did the girls stop stretching? I am assuming that they will need to be bent since I have em in so tall
Did you feed a full 10wks and then flush for 2wks?
Is there anything I can do so finish out quicker by a couple weeks at least?
not used to working with a 10wk I have always done 6wks and 2wks of flush
Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated

I avg 4 to 6 oz per plant and I run 5 plants per 1000 watts, she does like a some what heavy load. I only removed the lower 12" for air movement but I do super crop them and scrog them as well total streach is 36". No they did jump 12" to 15" after they went into 12/12. I feed them every week until the last week for flush.

Dark Star puts on most of the yield in the last 3 weeks. This strain needs the full 10 weeks. she does reward you at the end.
