TH Seeds strain reviews

Just a compilation of notes from an offline grower. Feel free to discuss.

TH Seeds MK Ultra. Kush, dank like you smell everywhere in San Francisco. Smells great in bag, amazing crystals, strong stone, but not overwhelming. Stress-less. Stronger but shorter-lasting high than Burmese Kush. Very popular, definitely the best strain of TH Seeds I’ve tried. Strongest aroma of anything except some White Widow by Dutch Passion.

TH Seeds Burmese Kush. Afghan looking, pretty good yields, interesting looking, colorful, chunky/dense buds, crystals on fan leaves, short stigmas, slow finishing. Aroma in growth moderate but very pleasant smell. In bag/bowl very mild, unimpressive. Clean smoke, unremarkable. High is very good, first bud I’d call a mild sedative and sleep aid. Very low stress stone. Doesn’t match description or pictures on THSeeds site too well. Better than Sage n’ Sour.

TH Seeds Skunkage took 14+ weeks to finish! At 10 wks early sample was pretty good, nice lingering aroma like church incense. Giant buds just kept growing, then foxtailed. Colas as fat as a beer can, but fluffy, small flowers didn’t swell up, and not a keeper. Plant smelled like stinging nettle.

TH Seeds Cold Creek Kush: “all body... my legs feel like jelly” plants have very little aroma, stealthy even. Little crystals until late into flowering. Big colas do stack up tight, rock-bud. Fat leaves. Not picky about nutes or pot size. But product is not that strong. Grown in soil, Nectar for the Gods, looked healthy bit low on N, little aroma, little crystal until about 6 weeks into flower when well-lit buds got thick and pretty frosty. Smooth smoke but very little flavor.

TH Seeds Sage n’ Sour: Rich, peppery flavor even young, maybe cedar? Supposedly 55-60 days, but I found 70-80 days better. Not outstanding, so didn’t keep.

I received a clone of TH seeds the hog back in 2003 and it was excellent smoke tasty and resinous but tiny yielder and slower vegger. Not a keeper either. This was back when my friend bought a 10 pack for $280 US and only got one female due to poor growing skills. That same friend also paid $360 for 10 seeds of jack herer from sensi seeds and he only got one female off those too. He was not a good grower but I got two clones from top dollar strains so win for me. Funny thing is I ran both the hog and that jack herer at the same time as I ran a $20 pack nirvana seeds top 44 in which the top 44 was better quality product than the $840 worth of the other.

Cheers and thanks for the report, always good to know.

I'm growing 3x MKage clones -3rd run, clones of clones- I only popped one seed from five-pack of fem'd MKage (MK ultra x s.a.g.e.) ; last run took 12 weeks flowering, that's usually too long for me but I have a beauty of an unknown kush (freebie from 'sea of seeds'(apothecary genetics) that i flowered without taking a cutting,so i left popcorn buds when I chopped it at 8weeks and re-vegged plant and I now have 15 rooted clones ,gonna keep 5 as mother-plants.
I've got the re-vegged plant+1 clone off it alongside the 3 MKage clones in flower- (not a keeper due to flowering time but nice sweet smell +taste with a relaxing body stone, though not a great yielder.!
Happy growing

i grew their mk ultra, very dank, kush smell and taste.. not the biggest yielder, small sized nugs of pure goodness.. i thought the potency was top notch.. don't remember the length of the stone tbh, grew it a few times, one of my top ten, maybe even top 5.. it's up there for sure..

I have a 8 foot tall by 8 foot wide skunkage plant outdoors that only came about as a result of throwing a seed in the ground in the woods twords the end of june because I didnt need it and didnt want it to go to waste. The buds are truly massive an have a fair amount of resin nothing special but not bad at all! Reading this made me understand why its taking so damn long to finish every other strain is already hanging but this plant doesnt seem to want to stop packing on the girth of the buds... i just hope it finishes before it gets too cold in a couple weeks. Be a shame to harvest it early its simply beautiful. The growth rate/structure an bud size are phenomenal. So far every bud on the plant is atleast a foot an a half long an as big around as a 32oz gatorade ev en the lowers

Grew their bubblegum as it was advertised to be the indica dominant sister strain to the serious' sativa version of the bublegum line.

Grew easily, had decent yields, grew more like a sativa though. The smell was pure eucalyptus and camphor. Smelled like you just opened a jar of vicks vap o rub. Very astringent. Prolly smelled and tasted like the last thing you would expect bubblegum to taste like. Would never grow it again just based on it tasting like medicinal ass.

Only ever tried their MK Ultra and it was worth it.

A friend used colloidal silver to reverse a pair of TH Seeds Mk Ultra females to get some pollen and let them orgy down with their clone offspring and other selected girls to produce some feminized seeds. Both of the original Mk ULTRAs were good smoke, but not the tightest buds. Had a hashy, not fruity, taste and smell. Stretched a good bit in flower. Maybe an 8 level high on a 1-10 scale.

One of the plants being flowered out from the feminized seeds, ostensibly a home made MK Ultra, has a far different smell than the originals and the buds look like they're going to be much tighter. Stronger stalks and branches with trichomes covering secondary leaves too with about 2 weeks to go before finished.

Another plant, a potent and fruity smelling Texada Timewarp x Blue Widow cross was hit with the same reversed MK Ultra pollen, seems to have unusual vigor in veg. The expectation is there will be red eyes and funky and fruity smells from this girl when she is flowered.

Like a true friend, I volunteered to test the results of the pollen chucking when they are ready.

grower skill does not determine what sex your plants are, and th seeds and sensi seeds are not considered an expensive seed company so why the hell would they pay that much for a 10 pack when you can get a 5 pack on seedsherenow for 48 dollars lol so thats less then 100 for a 10 pack. your freinds got ripped the fuck off!

Dude those names were huge in 2003 and those were the prices. Not sure if you can google seed prices from Kind seed company but if you can you'd see I ain't bullshitting.

Plus, seedsherenow was no where around back then. My friends and I ordered our seeds from Kind seed company out of Canada the other options back then was Mark Emery and gypsyNirvana but prices were the same.

And yeah I think he got ripped off too but that is what happens when you buy the high times cannabis cup winners back in the day. They wanted the "best" so spent top dollar and those prices were from legit seed banks circa 2002-2003. Meanwhile the packs of nirvana I bought for $25 often put out better tasting phenos any way.

And the reason he only got one female from his shitty ass skills was because he killed all but 2 plants. 1 male and 1 female.

Canadian prices and Marc Emory especially were ridiculously high but he was making the money. There were better places to buy but there was also a lot of fear of ordering over seas and cross borders back then, hence the prices. Just look what happened to Emory back then. There was fear for a reason. Brother's Grimm back then was 200 bucks a pack all day long. I know I ordered seeds back then too.

The Gypsy nirvana got me for $180 in 2007 when I sent cash trying to get serious seeds AK47 and I'm still pissed I missed out on them then because the strain has been watered down.

And I was one of the hundreds of people that sent Emory money at the same time the feds busted him. They sent me a letter trying to bait me into sending more money with my "real" address but luckily Emory's site had a warning letting us know what's up but I mean I wasn't gonna send more money anyway but at least I knew the feds sent the letter. Fun times.

I grew their SAGE years ago, good sized buds with decent weight in 11-12 weeks. Clean & clear high, good & stimulating for day time. The smell & taste didn't make a huge impression but I do remember it having good PM resistance.

I'll be starting 20 more as soon as my license arrives, we'll see how it compares a decade later.

I don't see gypsy doing that. I did thousands of dollars with him up until his bust. I just did a thousand dollar order with him and got it in less than 5 days from Europe yesterday. Possibly mail thief or wrong address? I am always cash....

Sorry to hear about the loss though ;\ I know how it feels.
