I guess my time is up here. I want to say thank you for the fun debates and all the information that I have picked up. Both from debating my side and learning about your side of the arguments.
I have tried to always keep everything civil, but eventually relented when I was continually being called everything in the book for trying to get out the actual information instead of just the speculation that is floating around the conspiracy threads.
So in the end I did start to fire back as hard as I got. But never just doing it as a your mom way, I always tried to have a point in my posts to avoid spamming insults.
I know that at times I have gone too far, but it was not something that I had done first, it was more reactionary.
But when I have to check myself and wonder if I should respond to posts like this:

To Fdd, I understand the position that you are in. This is a hard thing to do (moderate a political thread where there are two sides that post regularly), and eventually something has to give. So I will try to make your job easier.
I will try to stick to the main forums and avoid this all together.
But in parting I would like to say that people should really try to learn things for themselves and question everything. Almost everyone that has a blog has an agenda. Many blogs and news sites now are controlled by one side or the other.
Eventually the tables will turn and you will see that the hate and misinformation will just switch sides to get the other side in power again.
Keep your cool and just try to understand life is great and the best way to enjoy it is to educate yourself the best you possibly can so that you can see there is nobody out there to get you because they are too concerned about their own welfare to want to take yours.
To Jhr, it was really good to hear your side, good luck with the school year.
TbT, I think that we had a lot of fun with the back and forth, and every though we both think the other is nuts there is some good respect there.
I am not going to make this a shout out thread, so to everyone else, best of luck it was nice to meet you.
And I hope you don't mind every so often if I have good info that comes out if I post it.

Oi man, why do you have to bring that crap here. Keep your racism to your self (even if you don't consider them a race, it is the same train of thought). This had promise to be a uplifting thread.

Play the race card more please. Even though Zion has nothing to do with race.
I think fdd needs to do something about the people that yell "racist!" after every comment.
I need to step away.he may be spot on but he needs to BACK OFF or reword his attacks. it's a direct insult. somewhat trivial but i'm pulling the reins.

I'm 30. I think it will more come down to when people got into politics, which will still work along age. I started to really get into it when I was in middle school and it was during Clinton's 1st election. I did not watch the news much then, but did see how well the economy did. Growing up in detroit in the 80's I was no Regen fan since under his watch Michigan got decimated.
Then I got to see Bush go to war, which I am very much against. And Bush 2 pick it back up full boar. I freely admit I ate up a lot of the propaganda that got tossed at Bush, but I have learned from it. I am very happy with Obama being president and understand the economics of the decisions that have been made. And they are all in the best interest (as possible anyway) of us in the middle class and lower.
Yeah and all the god stuff freaks me out about Bush.
