thanks for steering me straight. new light time!

HELP! I just bought this amazon LED grow light and I’m wondering if it’s too weak. it’s 25W with IR and UV. this is the link.

I read that it’s more about the type of light and spectrum available to the plant, but i’m still concerned that it could cause stretching. I also own a UV light bar that is about a foot long and was cheap. will these two be enough for 3 autos? i’m growing in a closet with minimal space. I have a low budget so i’m hoping this will be enough. Should I buy more lights or individual bulbs? thanks!!!!

Yep - that “ light “ is a tosser.

Not even good for supplemental lighting - weaker than even T5 Fluorescent.

Look at at least a good 2x2 tent size light as a starting point. I am ( among others ) are garden testing a new @ViparSpectra light ( they are sponsors here on RIU ) - XS1500 pro led. Amazon also has this light for about $140. ( see link ).

It is a well rounded light in quality and performance.
Especially for its price point.

Good luck on your grows. :weed:

The spectrum is important, but power is equally important when trying to grow large, mature plants. I would think an actual 100w draw minimum is necessary for just 1 auto, let alone 3 unless they stay bonsai-sized but not sure how that would work for autos.

Sorry man but you got duped. Don't take this the wrong way but your inexperience is showing. It even lists this as a commercial plant grow lamp, lol. My first suggestion to you is send back that light to Amazon and get your money back. My second suggestion is roam the forums and read, read, read. Absorb some knowledge and you will understand better why this cheap thing was a waste of time and money. I am also curious why you would buy a UV light when you don't seem to know anything about lighting? This is unfortunately one of the common pitfalls to new growers. Companies market this cheap garbage to those who don't know enough to realize how bad they are. Don't let it discourage you. If you are serious about wanting to grow, start with learning about the basics and move on from there. If you want to buy something you are not sure of post it and ask before you buy. Good luck.

Thanks so much. I’m not worried at all, free 100% return. I had no idea this whole community existed, now i’ll ask before buying for sure
