Thanksgiving vacation left my plants yellowing.

I just returned from a vacation at my relatives house and more of my bottom leaves are yellowing. The plants are about 10 weeks and I was told that it's normal but it's getting a little worrying. I'm thinking I should just trim off a lot of the sun leaves and let it grow out, but is cutting off a bunch of big leaves OK? I don't want my babies to not be able to get enough light because my lightings weak already. I've got it on nutes and calmag. The soil is organic potting soil with crushed eggshell and coffee grounds. I have one 100 watt blue and red LED bank and 2 floros that I don't know the Watts on. So do you think I should trim their leaves or change the nutes or anything I'm missing? Any advise would be fantastic.

the more light the more nutes required

better to repot in say FFOF and 30% perlite

no food/nutes for 3 weeks

good luck

Good advice ^^^^^
Also organic soil and chemical salt ferts are a questionable mix. Aleast for the organic part, the salts can kill the micro herd .

Well, they don't actually kill them. They do slap them down quite a bit.....over time and over feeding is bad for them too.

There is really no problem using organic soil to run synthetic nutrients.
It is best to let the plant use them up (for the most part) before starting nutrient use.

So, I gotta ask.

How long without feeding/watering?
And/or did you dump a shit ton of feed/water on them before you left?

What are you feeding and how much?
Bloom or veg?

Thing is now, many nutrient lines are changing to include a carb to actually feed them a bit and keep them active....They do play a role in synthetic feeding and quality of nutrient use! If they didn't (the bacteria and fungi), you wouldn't see all those "myco's" for synthetic grows being used and sold now.....Just look at the soilless media's being sold with myco's! Like Sunshine mix #4, etc, etc..

AND your welcome!
