Yo RIU! Hope ur all good!

So im on week 5 at the minute and all seems to be going okay, quite a bit of trichs forming now and all look healthy. Theres a wierd leaf as you can see on the first pic but i put that down to my PH values from the start.

As this is my first time im not sure when they are at the final stages, anyone got an opinion as to where im at now? They showed there sex in veg so i counted from the switch so there on day 32... I dont no if you can tell in the pic but some of the hairs are going a little bit orange and the calyxes are swelling inside if you can see? The pistils out of the calyxes on the nodes are turning orange at the end, on a guide i read stated that the stage im at now would be 4-5 weeks correct?? My loupe hasnt come yet so i cant check the trichs which is pissing me off! Feedback always appreciated! Thanks :)

They look super happy. There is some yellowing going on but that's normal at 5 weeks. Just watch for middle leaves turning all yellow.

Overdrive should be used the last 4 weeks of flower but stoped 1 week befor harvest. Looks like it's indica dom but strong sativa. So you might have a 9-11 week flowering time.

Thanks for the advice man, i may leave the big bud for all of week 5 and start the overdrive from week 6. Read up that as soon as trichs start to go cloudy and orange hairs start to appear then switch to overdrive but if i did that id only have a few weeks on the stuff. Just hope i dont leave it too late!

You should be good to add it next res change. 5-6 weeks on a 9-11 week plant give about 2-5 weeks of useing it. And that's right where you want it.

Looking good DeeJay! So now that you are 2/3 the way thru flowering, I am assuming that although this may be your first grow that chances are this won't be your last. So what's on deck next? You got a source of clones or seeds over there? You should look at getting them going now, so when you harvest you can roll the next batch in and do a quick veg on them and then flower them out. I know you only have the tent, but I am sure you can rig a couple CFL's and a tray for some clones or seedlings so you can minimize your down time. Anyways looking good and frosty, keep up the good work bro!

Yo westcoast! Thanks man! Yeh i cant wait until there done its taking forever :( yeh man you are right, ive got a guy who does clones around here but i would like to start from seed if im honest next time so i know what im growing and clone them in veg. Big step really dont ya think or would i be ok doing that? Done plenty of research on cloning so should be fine.

To be honest i never thought of getting clones now and putting them under cfls. Like 50W? They should hardly grow if i did that until i put them in the tent? Speak to u soon brother!!

Growing from seed can be slow, especially right out of the gates. If I was you I would do both; order seeds now and get them germinating and at the same time get some clones vegging under a 50watt CFL ;). I would then move those vegging clones into your tent once your flowering plants are finished up. By the time you are half way thru your next flowering cycle your seedlings should be large enough to pull a couple of clones off of each, and you can use those clones for your third grow while mantaining a couple small mother plants. LOL starting to sound like you need a veg tent... I think this type of cycle would get you exactly what you are looking for at this point in your growing venture, and that's to basically grow enough herb to never run out. Hope this helps you bro!

hahaha and i thought this time was hard work.....yeh brother im definitely gonna do what you said with the clones and get a couple of CFLs to keep them going until their ready to go in. and i suppose your right west, still wet behind the ears yet so might leave the seeds until the 1 after the next or something and do what you said with that.

Was gonna get the Belomo 10x Triplet for the trichs but i ordered a 30x and 60x instead the other day so they should be here soon. they wasnt so expensive so i thought id get them both haha. hope their fit for the job!!
