lol he doesnt even know, how do YOU expect to know? someone always wants to come up with a smart answer. nice try buddy :):joint:
It was a guess that I did not in any way present as 100% accurate. There's entire courses in college based on educated guesses, and even though it may not be accurate to the last lumen it does give you a fair estimate of how much light he's working with.

Of course we could always go into the discussion that lumens is worthless as it is based on how humans perceive light, not plants.

End thread derail, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Hello mate :-) ..... I did think NeoAnarchist was being a bit hard on you there!

Took a few shots of the 2 Kush just before lights on this morning.. shows bud development so far. You can see the one on the left is further ahead than the lady on the right, fans yellowing now and more brown hairs. There are 2 distinct phenos of the Bubba O Kush, one faster and slightly taller than the other and I'm sure I have 1 of each in that 1 pot

Day 64 from germination today. Allowing for the fact that they took 21 days to show preflowers on 12/12 from seed that puts them around the end of week 6 mark, with about 3 to go.

Cheers Herbal Addict :-)

I find that so long as you feed those roots well 2 in a pot is no problem. I use free draining 'bonsai' compost with LOTS of perlite mixed in.

Of course you could multiplant and remove males if you wanted to increase your chances of ending up with a female in each pot. I prefer to go with good feminised seeds.

Next up will be 2 'Dutch Passion' White Widow fems, (again in a single pot) my long time old 2nd favourite after this Kush variety. Bloody expensive but I trust DP after so many years and with 'Pick n Mix' seeds I can order just a few from a pack which makes them more affordable.

they wer vegged with 1 250w envirilite
flowering with a few 250w envirolites

they look shiney due to a nitrogen foliar feed, so they are wet.

Sounds good. I ask because I am looking at different methods, have thought long and hard about the old hempy bucket for a while or maybe DWC again, I reckon I just manage it in my cabinet!

Yes, I'm a UK grower, down South :-)

Have you got a thread running on that grow?

********************************************************************************
*edit* One more shot for anyone just looking into this thread!

Bubba O Kush. 2 seedplants in a single 11" pot, 350watts CFL's, currently at day 64 from germination, grown 12/12 from seed, 3 weeks to finish roughly. Fed fishtank water, superthrive & molasses. PH adjusted down to 6.2, currently watering 2 litres every 4th day.

im south 2,

cudnt u get a nft system in ur set up?that would be good the 40quid ones are sweeet from hydrohobby ,http://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/product/gt205i_nft_system/ my m8 uses 1 it might fit perfect in ur cab.
hempy bucket not brilliant in that space, maybee a 6 plant dwc,

not got a journal on my plants, wll have on my next grow
Hi mate. I have looked at NFT but cant find one that will fit! My cabs only 12" deep. I might well go with DWC I have some experience of that and it appeals to me. I only like to grow 2 or 3 plants at a time so would have plenty of room.

Anyway, couldnt resist a few shots this am.

2 Kush seedplants/single 11" diameter pot. Day 67 from germination today, 12/12 from seed. 350 watts of those horrible nasty CFL's that I keep hearing won't produce dense buds! :-)

Front and back views, plus a closer shot of the buds. Couple more weeks to go yet.

I do tend to get a touch of 'over fert' burn, I think the fishtank water I use can be a touch 'hot' but so long as buds are forming well I dont lose sleep about things like that! Tomorrow they will have a good flush through of plain PH'd water.

Awesome stuff CV. I'm loving that Kush strain, does it smoke as good as it looks?
It seems we use some similar tricks.
I wouldn't have tried 3 in a bed but I can see why the soil you use and the watering frequency would help to reduce any problems.
Think I'd better keep an eye on this grow. Looks like there's plenty I can learn from your style.

my questions about multiplant are as follows...

1.) if all 3 are grown in the same pot the roots will bound together, correct?

2.) And, if all 3 become root bound, won't they all be fighting for nutrients?

Just a couple questions, I'm still a bit new to growing but not completely

Good to see my favourite PC case grower here v12XJS :-)

I'll work through the questions above more fully when I'm a little less baked , but heres a few more pics I just took :-)

Multiplanting is fine, and in my case I need to keep my plants short and bushy so it helps to control the root mass. 2 or 3 are no problem but you need very free draining soil so you can water right through regularly to soak those roots and offer nutrients to sustain them.

I decided to reject the 3 small clones in the single pot because I have more seeds I want to go with, and as seedplants are more vigorous on 12/12 grows than clones I only do 2 in a pot. When I get 3 more slightly bigger cuttings ready I WILL run the 3 in a pot with them!

MACLAD & sunkissedbuds, thanks for looking in here :-)
