what happens when the plant gets too tall for it and can you change the size of the pots?

probobly tomorrow or the next day...but heres a little one...

I've picked some of the lower branches last week and hung them up to dry...

Although these branches that i picked were very little and under developed i probobly have about a gram or 2 about to be done drying...

Again what i have alreay picked was hairy (all white) not many if at all trichomes....but i picked them mainly becasue i believe that lower branches that arent getting enough light are nothing but "suckers" sucking energey from the good parts of the plant... that why i removed them and also for an experiment and practice at drying and manicuring....

Tomorrow i'm picking the small right one...i'll take some pic of it...but its really crystally but buds are pretty small...

As for the big one its got big bud kinda and is somewhat crystally but its still about 90% white hairs...

Its just about 8 weeks flowering for both....

That's right Tek'. the lower branches take up growth that could go onto the main cola. If you've been using fert's, it's probably not a good idea to smoke it as you may get a slight headache.

I've wondered about that. (the ferts still being in the dried bud)

But ive heard fox farm is organic and then i heard it is only organic based and does have some chemicals in it...

Either way I do have this stuff called Flora Kleen...which is supposed remove salt build up and like drain the remaining nutes out of the plant...

Do you use somthing like this? and can you give me a little info on how you apply its use...

i need to know how to start my plant flowering. its reached the limit on my aerogarden. do i pinch the tops off? and what about light? do i keep it the same or cut it back?

Here is what I have heard, and what I will probably do:

1 - About 1 week before you plan on harvesting your plants, replace the water in the reservior with plain distilled (or your water of choice) water.

2 - two days before harvest, drain the reservior and put the plants in darkness for 48 hours.

Supposedly, this will force the plant to use any remaining nutrients in it's stems/leafs/buds , since it's root structure no longer is being fed in the last 2 days, it will really force the plant to use everything it has to keep itself alive.

I'm not sure exactly how true this is, since it's all based on things i've read in various forums and articles...but it sounds logical. Can anyone verify this ?

that could be valuable information...does anyone know if this is valid? or is there a better way to harvest...ive heard that you do the plain water thing to get rid of nute taste, but ive also heard that you harvest in the plants morning, because this is when thc is the highest.

never heard of the 48 hrs of dark but sounds logical....

I just completley picked my one plant....I forgot to take pics before i wrapped it up in a paper napkin method i made up to help it dry quicker rather than just hanging it up side down.....pretty much like putting it in a paper bag.... ifigure it will be dry in like a week...i'll take pics for everyone then...

I got a bunch of nice looking little buds...not sure of the weight but i'm hoping for about 7 but will probobly be less....The big one on the other hand should yield at least triple of what ever this little one will yield...

It smells good too, it was just bag seed mid grade if that, and now its probobly gonna be the shit...

Once the last plant turns more red hairs i'll probobly hang that one updise down but not sure....

OK, short update. I have them under HPS, biggest one is 17 inches, not counting roots. I created a little CO2 generator (2 liter bottle, water, sugar, and yeast) and ran the tube into the basin of the aero. I figure the roots can take in the co2 and the co2 should be pretty well trapped in that compartment. The plants are budding nicely. I kept all 7 alive. The biggest has grown about 10 inches in the last 2 weeks. I'm thinking, total time might be 10 weeks from seed using aero and hps. You could easily cut that down by cloning.

I'm curious to see if the CO2 does anything noticeable. They're growing good now so... I've been doing nutes by eye...but it basically works to splitting weekly feedings in half, giving clean water until the cloudiness disappears and then nutes when clear.

I may be wrong but the roots take in oxygen while the leaves take in the CO2. I think you want that tube just below the leaves.

Hey Teknique and everyone else,

I've been following this thread since it started. I saw this areo garden on a TV show, and since knowing nothing at all about growing any kind of plant, I thought that this would be good for someone like me. I typed in Aero Marijuana in a search engine and it lead me here. Anyway my garden will be arriving this week. I need help from the pros. I'm going to germinate in the Aero. What is the cycle for lighting in the beggining. Thanks
