Hello this diary has been requested and i hope you all scribe and follow my seeds on there strange growth pattern. :leaf:

basically i germinated my Northern Lights seeds in tissue paper but i used a spray bottle to water them that had sleep therapy spray in it and this is the ingredients: :leaf:

Organic plant alcohol*, Lavender oil*, Water, Fragrance, Rosewood oil*, Honey extract*, Vanilla extract*, Bitter orange leaf/twig/flower oil*

i washed the bottle out loads before using it but its still in there and still smells of it.:leaf:

So anyway supgee3 told me to plant them into soil straight away so i have done that and there under a 125w light.:leaf:

Here are the pictures, i will be adding more and keeping you updated.:leaf:

I will keep you all updated.:leaf:

Thanks :) :weed:

Hey they havnt grown taller but they both grown 2 extra mini leaves.

one of the plant is green the other one is yellowish green.

they have had to be on my window sill until i got my grow shed ready.

its nearly ready and they will be in new soil under the 125w light with space blanket all round tonight.

so hopefully in the next few days they will grow :)

Good news. All four plants have been under a 125w in my grow shed over night, one of them is looking green and healthy with 4 leaves, one of them is a bit yellowy green but i think it will get better. And the other 2 are out of the soil with the shells still on a bit.

I think i need to remove the shells because they grew in the tissue paper before i planted them. Like the actually grew 2 inch long routs in the tissue paper and some of them sprouted haha im not joking.

should i take the shells of the 2 younger ones because it didn't happen naturally ?

Here are the pics of the plants and the grow shed lol

Leave me feed back and ill keep you updated :)

Thanks

Dude, that is crazy how those seeds grew up to cotyledon in tissue paper. Hilarious.

Those pots look a little soaked to me. And are they getting air circulation in that 4th picture?

Hopefully more folks chime in here. Good luck!

EDIT - Don't remove the shell! It will eventually do that naturally, or may not. In any case those first leaves (the cotyledon) become useless to the plant after a few weeks. The serrated leaves will do all the work

They had just been watered lol, there is a fan in there but the temperature is 19c and humidity 61%. I took the shell of woops. There was nothing inside it thoe
.I don't think all of them will survive so I may buy some more seeds next week, think I need another light aswell but money is low atm lol

i would invest in that moisture meter if u can.{helps alot},but if u dont have the money for it, then just water till you think its enough, just dont overwater them. btw nice grow so far. i also is germinating today. Subbed!

Way early, but keep giving them the love! But not too much...

For watering, there are a few ways. One way is to wait until the plants wilt a bit before watering, but in your case it is too early. Another way is the 'pick it up' method. Basically pick up the pot right after watering, note its weight, and don't water again until it weighs a lot less. I use that method along with the 'eyeball' method. The eyeball method is to keep a close eye on the edge of the pot. When the soil dries out enough, it will start to seperate from the edge of the pot. That's when you know it is OK to water. Yet another method is sticking your finger into the soil to check for moisture. I do not like that method, I fear root damage.

EDIT - my personal tip is to water deep, not often. With seedling in party cups, I can go 1-3 days between waterings. But when I doi water, I want to see runoff come out of the drain holes. How often you will need to water will depend on the size of the plant relative to the pot.

It's no biggie if you leave the seeds too long they will grow a head and everything and you can just plant them like you did and they are fine nothing out of the ordinary though. Good luck.
