Stl as a whole is pretty sketchy outside of the tourist areas. It was weird how the people there (central il) looked at the world. "So we topped the murder list, but that's just in the ghetto, the rest is fine and there is no real crime issue." For the life of them, they couldn't grasp that is what all cities are like.

My son and family lived there for a while. He and his wife worked the emergency rooms in STL. They had to get out.

I grew up in STL, the separation in that city is pretty stark comparing west county to east STL. (Or was 20 years ago)

Trump's payments to farmers hit all-time high ahead of election | Reuters
They follow the advice/logic of a PROVEN failed businessman/liar from New York who only became a Republican 25 years ago when he saw the opportunity to feed his fucked up ego/mind.
And the Republicans in FUCKING DROVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bought into his shit & continue to do so to this day.

Good for you.
Hospitals near me had to order refrigerated trucks to hold all the bodies.
I had a tendency to dislike you before with your comments, but now I'm sure.
I don't like you
Have a fucked up day.
You deserve/earned it.
What a bunch of BS! But hey it was a good year to get the flu right?

Eh, all I can say is that is the exact, and I do mean exact, sort of people that fill a bunch of areas of this country and what made me leave the midwest and decide its the pit of the nation.
Thank you it gets better with every lib leaving. We appreciate it!

Back at cha. I am not opposed to the idea of self segregation, it was nice leaving and finding places that were a better fit. It's also rad when you meet others that did the same. We don't like you you don't like us, it's equally goofy to push liberal or conservative views on groups that don't want to hear it. I don't want country folks imposing rules on me, they don't live here, and I don't really think I should be telling rural people how to live.

So it goes

But they sure do love all those big city taxes that pay for all those roads with a couple people driving on them.

There's reasons those hospitals were not full. The infrastructure in the more rural parts of IL are incredible due to the Chicago taxes. It's a point lost on the rural folks. My elderly dad moved back, large towns/small cities offer vastly better health care than he could get in Seattle.

Seattle has some of the best hospitals in the world. What was the problem?

Tbh not quite sure, hard time getting appointments. He's also old and cranky.

Edit: i asked...got kind of a rant ramble, not necessarily the hospitals, but got extremely frustrated trying to find the wide array of specialists old people need. Long waits to get an appointment and said many were just not good/smart. Something about they had weird rules limiting the number of doctors (didn't make sense). He did have complaints about the hospitals when he wound up there, the quality of care just wasn't as good...likely because it's a busy ass hospital in city vs the really heavy duty facilities in lightly populated midwest areas.
