the big light switch

quick question from a first time grower

im on an 18/6 for veg. atm
and shortly i will be switching to 12/12 for flowering.

so my lights currently come on at 5am and off at 11pm

due to cold temps i would prefer to have the 12/12 cycle start at 10pm and off at 10am.

is this possible without screwing things up? im up for any suggestions

i think that its possible to leave the lights off for up 2 36hours before switching.. dont take my word like im just sure i read on here somewere.

i always grow at night in winter months and when i flip some go days and some go nights

no problems ....

so if i turn them off at their normal time the lights will be off for about 24 hours before they come back on. and i will switch them to hps from mh.

or should i leave the lights on extra long the last night?
