Long time bubblehead member here back from the dead fellahs. I must make a confession to you guys tho, I have gone aeroponic for mass producing my buds, but for my prized sativa strains and any other ones I want to pay special attention too I put in my DWC bubble bucket. Anyways just letting you guys know im back, and I am on the back end of a grow, about 2-3 weeks left.

The only thing is I was forced to let a friend do all my maintenance and what not without me, so there was no topping or training involved and the fuckers have just gone crazy. Obviously my friend didnt know what stretching meant at the beginning, but it isnt that bad. They are about 5 1/2 to 6 feet tall and tied up around the room to support the bud growth.

I will post pictures soon

Iam doing an experiment on one of my Glass Slipper clones. I have a modified Aero DWC Bucket Bubbler. Im basically letting the roots go through a wet & Dry Cycle, and it get sprayed down with Fox Farm nutrients. The question,... How long should I let my roots air bathe? Right now, My timer is set at 15 minutes spray, then 45 minutes dry. I have an air stone at the bottom of my reservoir bubbling away 24/7 for the roots that are dangling at the bottom. I have a Hydrofarms 3/4'' Rubber hose wrapped inside my bucket with about 50 holes drilled in it that sprays the nutes. What is the BEST pump cycle for maximum performance/saturation/growth? Right now the plant looks SUPER!! Whats your input? thx! :bigjoint: p.s. I also have 12 dwc Buckets w/out a controller bucket that are growing like Crazy. Love this shit!! Should of got out of soil a decade ago!!! :) Check out my grow link for lotsa pics/updates :)

OK been at it again all day and i am at the point of deciding which way to go on the net pots. Lowes my fav store ran out of bucket lids so i went to a local paint store and picked up 15 there. They dont match my lowes lids and they have a pull spout on them. I decided since i am so poor that i cant even afford a down payment on a free lunch, that i would diy my 4" soil pots into net pots. Huhh easier said than done. Which i have enough of to do. Fuck i spent atleast an hour drilling holes and cleaning off burrs. Im starting to think i may try and find something similar to a real net pot and retro fit, OR I can come up with the Bengy to get the deep dish dayton spoke drains from lowes. lol. I like these fucking pots but damn $8 fozoles a piece. Well heres the latest from the 1BMM cave.

This is what im calling the deep dish dayton spoke net pot ahaha. At the right angle it looks like some Ds.

The DIY pain in the fucking ass net pots.

I dont think there gonna cut it.

Got all the 4" lids done. Except the net pots. I dont think i need the huge dayton pots but i cant find a 4". Will have to go hunting.

Birds eye view.

A good look at the plumbing.

Tinkering with the res flood system. Probably gonna upgrade this draft of it.

Hey Bubble heads just thought id drop in and see if anyone can recommend some high out put air pumps. As you can see I have a 15 bucket set up and i really dont wanna buy 15 pumps. Any advice.

P.S. Theres tons more pics in my journal. The links in my sig Peace 1BMM.

Ready for my journey in to bubble headom....Im running 4 37 gallon tubs with 6 5.5" nets on a dwc bubble and aeroponics system....my aerosystem has 6 360 microsprayers that will spray out the bucket if the top is gone....my questions is how do i feed...do i run 24/7 soaking the bottom of the nets and let the roots drop in the bubbles or should i put the sprayers on a timer and let dry..im using hydroton as the medium. flora nova bloom and grow, super thrive are the nutes i bought. I pland to use the 4 systems on a harvest every 2-3 weeks plan...o another thing im running 1000w hps light is that to much light?

Funny i thought about that. Only drwbackis the compressor kicking on at odd hour of the night. It would work though.

The main reason the comercial ones are noisy is the way they make air. The use a piston setup that makes noise no matter how large or small, just the bigger they are, the louder it gets. But they are by far the best bang for the buck and move more air than the pump I put up, was just offering a different choice if noise was an issue.

That is a great pump and it moves a lot of air, but if noise is a problem, there are definetly quieter ones. These are what I use, they also move a lot of air, but not as much, but are whisper quiet.

That also looks like a winner. Its says it can run up to 12 lines T off to buckets. Is that a pretty good figure. Or do you think maybe i should get two pumps and run 7-8 buckets of 1 pump?

They work best on 8 buckets or less, but Im a firm believer in the more air the better, so I run 2 of those pumps in a single tub with 3-6 plants per tub. But that is just for flower. I use a single one of those for my 4 mothers and 3 cloning tubs.

I see. Well that looks like what ill be shooting for. I too have heard the more air bubbles the better. It would be nice to find a 5 port pump. Then i could use 3 pumps total. Thanks a bunch integra.
