Couunt about 30-35w per square foot for flower and 10-15w for veg. 20w per strip.

But changed dimensions make them less ideal, they have a 2 foot form factor.

Yes, you can run them harder but 20w per strip, thru one channel or 2, seems a good balance. We made a 2x4 fixture of 12 vestas, on 240 driver and it worked great. Meanwell Hlg240-48A, 2 strips i series on one heatsink, 6 heatsinks in total.

However: you have to consider practicality and form factor and how your going to raise or lower the fixture. If i understand you correct you wont have access thru all sides and these kinda fixtures you need to suspend from each corner. I reced the vestas on the basis that you would just fix them to the roof of your 2' foot tall space. Im not sure if they will make for a practical light with the new dimensions. Think it thru and remember it will weigh a fair bit.

5% difference in yield between kelvins sounds about right
I never got exact numbers but id estimate a bit more going from 3000k 80cri, to 2700 90cri. But our results werent really like for like, the 90 cri Fixture had much better spread, size and hung lower.

If i had to do any conclusions i think its easier to say some spectrums (90cri) can flower with less watts for same or a bit better yield.

To avoid confusion: im only really talking about white diodes. Some fixtures get to 90 by adding reds and stuff, i havent tried those so cant really say.

The fixture I retro-fitted some Vesta strips runs them @ 580mA, so it's about 25 watts/strip. No problems with it after 2 years.

I think this is the right range power. I go lower on more strips cause the vestas arent that efficient, about 2.2 at nominal iirc. But they outgrew some very elaborated fixtures, up to 2000 diodes per tray.

I have read all this tread. thank you all for the input I have four tents (4*4) and been planing to buy leds like bcblondes, but this tread and my wallet changed my mind.
Now I was planing to buy fotop800 (3 boards per tent with hlg 480 or dimmed 600 ) from meijiu. Price was from 80 to 128 us dollar.But shipping is expensive, 6boards 164usd,when 40 qb288 is 80usd both dhl . so i made my mind to buy qb288,
8 boards per tent, two rows with 4 boards per row with two HLG-240H-48A or HLG-320H-48A(dimmed). My idea ran than those boards softly, like rocket soul recomend (50-60w per board)

I thought about buying lm301h boards but when meijiu replied about the prices qb288 i got confused..

is 28usd and from meijiu is 50usd, the difference is so big that
its hard to believe me that Ill would get the same chip? maybe, some one could give me some wisdom here?
my plan was to add some deep red strips with another driver. But i don't know how much do I need (i am thinking about 4 strips per 4*4 50cm Osram SSL from ledtech.de ), AND do i need to add only deep red or deep blue too? qb288 cri80 and probably ill choose or mix some boards of 2700k, 3000k,3500k. I have been looking in led-tech.de and cutter.com.au, cutter looks a bit cheaper, but with shipping and taxes..? I'm from eastern europe (EU). tread mostly recomends buying extra 660nm from cutter.com.au.., Cutter has so many options for 660nm, that I wouldn't knew what to choose.
I have small tents for veg 70*70cm (2.3*2.3),would one qb288 running at 60w do the job for veg ? and what qb288 choose for veg, 4000k?
And lets finish with the drivers... where to buy? I'm from eastern europe (EU), Mouser looks like the cheapest in eu ? any experience ? and which is more convenient HLG with A or B in real life?
Just a FYI brother, the sam 301b and h are exactly the same, according to MIGRO, Growmau5 and Steven from HLG...this might save a brother a few bones.

This what i hear from Teknik aswell. Samsung says something about antisulfurization but wont give out any data on it. So basicly the same

Yees, you drive the 3 boards in parallel, approx 150w per board you need no heatsink which saves a bit on shipping, also less weight for hanging. Go back thru the thread and have a look at @WeedSexWeightsShakes updates to get an idea, and those are with old 561c diodes. The onnlly thing to add is that it gets to a really big fixture: 3x3 feet, this can make air flow a bit tricky (leave some space between the boards) and also make 4 point hanging, raising and lowering (you need to be able tto access your tent from fronnt annd back. Ive given this advice so mmanyy times now, it works a dream. You can litterally dial in an even 1000pfd just by hanging height. It works. A bit of CO2 and donkey dick heaven.

The spec sheets look slightly different... a few points gained in efficiency, but not much. Not sure I need the antisulfurization, but in a commercial setting would hate to remove the option. I feel the IPM guys would not be pleased if I removed this option, in case of emergency. I also have no idea what sulfur actually did to the lens of the C diodes. I look at it as an ounce of prevention vs pound of cure. Considering my volume, won't really affect the cost much.

If I were a hobby gardener, who never had to use sulfur, it probably wouldn't even register on my radar as a concern.

Looking good man! How have you liked the majos? I'm tore between the majo 600 or the 2 fotops for a 4x4 tent.

Love the Majo’s. Nice even PPFD across the canopy.

I’d get the Majo if you’re scroggin. Easy peasy height adjustments. . If growing different varieties/heights the fotops.

Edit. Just saw rockets and mofos post. I’d copy Mofo/rockets idea. Judging by Mofo’s YouTube, he’s got the right idea.
