THis bowl was made by an incredibly talented glower but like many glass guys hes a total slacker and when it broke he took 8 months to fix it and I dont talk to him anymore.
You have to wonder about a guy with this talent that when his dog shits in the house he lets it dry before removing

This was the coolest glass I ever owned though

Taste the Rainbow…..The Flav Session news.

I have some really exciting news!
I got really high off of The Flav.
Its rare I get actually blazed on smoking anything. After 35 years of continuous toking it more than anything calms my nerves and makes me smile. The only way I get really high is eating several cookies. Consuming 3 tablspoons of Tincture OR smoking a new THC profile. The latter is more rare as my THC receptors are probably maxed out still from the Bicentennial when we did 1776 Bong hits as a teen.
HOWEVER Jem777 came over to show me all the Flav phenos he grew out from seeds and we sat down for a serious session with MzJill and Dioxide so we would have as many opinions on the taste and potency as possible.
We got completely hammered using the Volcano and a few bingers.
We were all laughing and smiling and Jem77 had to head outside and grab his guitar.
We spend the next few hours listening to him play Pink Floyd and Yes and even Waterfall by Hendrix the dude shreds that’s all there is to it. Some one needs to record this cat asap!!
So were all just ripped singing along or humming cause we so high we forget the words

The Flav is really great reefer and the best Pheno I liked #5 is the spitting image of the Romulan Mom. We took turns smelling my 30 days cured Rom and the uncured but Dry Flav and we all thought the Flav had a more complex smell but Very similar to the Momma.

So its now 10 am on Sunday and I am getting ready to wake and bake using the Vap and some Flav5
Ok staging light went off lets make a Valoon

WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Crinkle Crinkle Crinkle.
The bag gets a erect………

45 second inhale Hold…………..

Its so smooth its amazing and even though its similar to the Rom I been vaping all week it has a deeper richer flavor and a instant head rush.

I taste a bouquet of floral oils and spices with a hint of Pine on the exhale.
The buzz is very fast and is coming on rapidly even though I have only had 1 Valoon,
Lets try a second 

I must say the damn weed is good. The quality of the buds are as good as anything I have grown so yeah Jem777 nailed it. If I didn’t know better Id think I grew this reefer.

The Buzz is happy and motivating but it has more relaxing effect than Tinybomb which can make you feel slightly tweaked using the vaporizer.

My initial notes were dead on and the ones I noted I wouldn’t keep while beautiful plants leaned moer to the Space Queen side and this was not what I wanted. Were really happy over 75% of the females leaned to the Romulan and 3 of the females would be very hard to tell apart once grown out and jarred.

I love to contrast flavors so I had a small bag of Trainwreck grown by Dioxide and he does it right let me tell you. But after a few valoons of Flav the Wreck tasted like Dirt and limes and when I took another hit of Flav it literally coated my mouth with a strange floral pine taste.

I will be making more and adding The Flav to our permanent offerings.

Edit Note!!!
I continued to get higer this am for about 25 minutes when I decided I needed another Valoon.

Years ago when I traveled to Amsterdam one of the first heavy Indica’s I tried was AK-47. I loved the spicy fruity taste and if memory serves we actually got so high I was dosing sitting in Grey Area and Steve poked me and gave me a look that said I like ya Sub but you can’t sleep in my tiny shop. We headed outside for fresh air and then across the street for Handmade Gourmet chocolates. I never forgot that experience, so we took some seeds back to grow out for nighttime medicine. This was 12 years ago and over the years I lost my female and lost contact with the guys that I gave cuts to or the other growers that I split the seeds with. In 2002 I grew out some seeds of AK-47 and I was really disappointed in the results. The strain was nothing like I remembered and each female was quite different from seed. Even Simon the breeder and owner of Serious seeds has stated openly that up to 100 AK-47 seeds would need to be started to find the one cherry female that everyone knew and loved back in the early 90’s. I felt the male or something was lost and the AK-47 seeds sold now were in name only and I moved on to other clone only strains for my medicine. One famous grower Nebu was able to keep a cut and it’s regarded as one of the best Indica clones around but he is very tight with it as he uses the female to breed with.
Over the years from time to time I run across samples of AK-47 and I am always disappointed until this year. I have friend that is a caregiver that I give advise to, his first garden ever was featured in the Last TY in the article “Whats in Your Garage” we call him “Dave”. Dave called me two months ago and said one of his patience had a cutting of AK that came from seeds bought in 1994. I quickly looked online and found the release date of AK-47 of 1992 and at this point I got very interested. I asked if a bud sample was possible and he told me the plants were at 9 weeks and went 70 days and he would have some samples soon. True to his word he showed up about 2 weeks later with a few thick buds and shoved one under my nose. “Smell like cherries?” he asked. The thick oily smell was infused with Cherries and Spice and was the exact smell I remembered from the Grey Area so many years back. I asked for a cutting and sure enough 10 days later a little baby clone was delivered to me. I transplanted her into my soil and placed her in the vegetive room under a 1000 watt metal halide Hortilux Blue Bulb set up. She grew fast and immediately started pushing out wide Indica dominant fan leafs. She grew really fast and it didn’t take long at all before she was a nice short bush with many heads. When she reached 30” in total plant height I placed her into 12/12 HPS lighting with 1200ppm CO2 added to boost growth rate. By day 30 nice colas were forming and we can already see resin in heavy concentrations on all leaves and even the stems. Even this early I am impressed with what I see and the cherry smell is starting to come on. The one trait we didn’t like on this strain was the leaf weight it carries into the finish. I was asked my the owner of the cutting to cross her with Space Queen in hopes to improve her Pistil to leaf ratio. If she passes our taste test we are going to proceed and call the outcross “ Tommy Gun”. The clone goes 70 days so we still have some time on ours but since I have such a good relationship with Marco I am hoping he will let me submit a part two with the final results. As I put this article to keyboard our girl is 33 days old and I will do a final photo shoot tonight and get the shots to Marco so you can se her as up to date as possibly.
Have we located a cut good enough to keep?

No she wasn't she was leafy and dried to have almost no smell. I was very unimpressed after the buds dried and we culled this strain. I dont like growing watery leaf!!

I first heard of this famous UK strain on the web site Breedbay. Seems it is all the rage in the UK among indoor growers. The general take among these growers was it was just about the best strain around there parts. Now my first thoughts were it was just another stinky cutting similar to many I have grown. But as I spoke to more and more growers from the UK I began to realize, maybe it was really special and unique after all! In the summer of 2007 I traveled to the Birmingham in the UK. The trip was pretty normal over all but when I landed in Gatwick Airport, the customs line was 12 rows wide and people were moving very slow, it took a full 2 hours to just clear the gate and make my way to baggage pick up. I always look for Bob as hes the taller of my two English buddies and I soon spotted both him and Pistils with huge Cheshire cat grins.

We make our way to the parking area and we head to the Blue zone where they had parked. The first thing I saw that proved people are totally alike everywhere was us not having a clue where the car was in the garage, sound familiar? We do this shit at home about 3 times a month…where the fuck did we park?
Pistils, Bob and I spent a week there seeing the sites meeting other growers and being treated basically like a King by these awesome people. They showed me many cool things about their area and it wasn’t long after landed the subject of cheese came up. So after a small walkabout we locate the ride and pile in. Bob hands me a Hemp Bong bag and Pistils a Stash Jar. Inside the bag was a Roor Bong with all the parts and a glass screen, inside the Jar was 4-6 Large JTR nugs cured to perfection grown by a friend of Pistils and just a killer sample. I felt like I was home with a brand new bong! Now riding with Bob is like going to the fair and riding a fast ride. He’s a trained ambulance driver and he fucking hauls ass! We were hitting 120 easy in places as I sat in the back seat smoking bingers out of the Roor, it wasn’t till later that I found out the zooming is just as big a fine as here and they don’t do bingers in cars, I have never been good at the following the rules thing….Thanks for making me feel like the King of Ganja guys. When you travel you always learn great new words. Now no one I met was nothing but nice but just like stateside the people around you can be annoying. The guy in front or your car going slow that wont get outa the way, The cook that drops his hair on ya food it truly was just like home but as we would call someone in our way an asshat ,Pistils shouts Move ya Cheeky Wankers, a more severe term is Knobhead and just cracked me up.

Lovely jubbley is a phase thats means Kick ass!

Mashed is stoned

No bongs Spliffs are the toke of the day

I absolutely smoked Cheese as everyone I met seemed to have a stash of this bud. I loved the fruity flavor and great head rush it is apparently really fucking good cause I smoked the stuff for 4 days and never took a picture of a bud. I forgot my cam battery BTW and we spent 3 hours driving to every store in Birmingham looking for a d-80 battery but we only incurred Knobheads and Wankers yet again.

I felt that we probably have similar strains already here in the US. Cheese isn't cheese like its just funky its similar to Tiny Bomb or a Funky fruity C99 but it also has a exotic spice undertone and a warm buttery toke. The exhale is spicy and smooth I smoked the same cut grown by many people and many ways and the flavor and strong smell was always there.
Lovely Jubbley!

This summer a friend, Obsoul33te from Northern California came to visit us. We spent a day swapping stories sharing bud and bubble and traded a few cuttings. He had some really nice gear in his stash but of all the stuff he offered the one I was interested in the most was Cheese. OB has some really good connections and if anyone has a real cutting of something it is him. The cutting was accompanied by some really large and dense buds that were grown outdoors and I must say my first impression was it was the same weird smell I remember from my trip, but these buds were huge compared to the buds I saw in England. Sunshine is much different than indoor lighting and some strains blow up under God’s light.

I planted the Cheese cutting in a 6” container and placed her in my vegging room under a 1000 watt Hortilux Blue Metal halide Bulb. These very expensive bulbs are designed to have enhanced Blue spectrum and I notice they produce shorter plants with thick stalks. I topped the Cheese cutting early to form multiple heads and continued to grow her under 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness until she formed a large dense bush.
She grew very similar to our Apollo-13 mother plant, mainly growing sideways and having very thin vine like stems. I supported her well with bamboo stakes and wire twist ties to keep the main buds from sagging below the canopy. She was a very squat plant and needed additional height to compete with some of my taller plants so she was placed on top of some bricks to even things out. Even still in veg you could smell her if you moved her or brushed up against the plant. A slightly rotting smell not quite Cheese but I understand why it got the name. At this early stage she reminded me or Port Wine Cheese spread.

The plant started to really fill out with buds by day 30 and my bud room took on a smell I had never encountered before. I was also running a new cutting of AK-47 that, combined with the funk of Cheese was overwhelming at times. It had a slightly Cherry smell but also a flat beer or garbage can smell that was gross and attractive at the same time. As the plant matured past day 45 I was worried I would not like the strain at all as it took on the smell of spoiled Vomit and fruit I could not imagine anything good coming from those smells.

By day 50 the rotting smell took a back seat to an astringent cleaning fruit smell if you actually smelled a bud but the odor it gave off in the room was a funky fruit/cheese smell.
I was having a hard time deciding when to harvest the plant as most of the pistils were shriveling up but many were still white in color so I contacted some UK growers and they informed me I was looking at 56 days for maximum flavor and smoothness so that’s the day I harvested her. The plant may not have looked huge but as a whole it had a tremendous number of bud sites and each nugget was hard and filled out completely. I could not help but notice a hanger of Cheese colas weighed as much as the huge hanger of AK buds harvested the same day. There was just twice as many rock hard buds on the Cheese hanger and it made up for the huge size of the AK-47.
I trimmed each bud well to collect as much sugar leaf as possible to make some Cheese bubblehash later. I was able to fill 4 clothes hangers with buds from the one plant and since it roots so easy I already have another Cheese plant 36” tall to place in the bud room.

We allowed the buds to hang and dry completely in 7 days and then I removed them from the stem and placed into a aluminum trey to finish air drying. When the stem was crunchy I placed the buds in an open jar and into my stash cabinet. After a few days I placed a lid on and we waited for these already incredibly pungent buds to cure for several weeks. This will allow us to do a proper judging as Cured Bud is the best tasting and has a better high.

We waited 2 weeks before opening the jar again and the smell is really amazing. It is also very hard to describe. Slightly fruity with a complex astringent or some type of disinfecting cleaner, the cheese smell only occurs when smelling it from a distance or in bulk. When you actually shove a bud under your nose and sniff the smell is much more than just Cheesy! The sample bud is crunchy and crisp with just a slight pliability that tells me the dry is perfect. A clean Bong with Ice of course is standing at the ready as I place a small pile into the glass bowl.

I thought once I actually grew out this cut and sampled it it would be just another over hyped strain but I was completely WRONG! The first thing that gets your attention is bud quality, each nuglet is hard and dense and just emitting a strong antiseptic smell combined with the strong smell of DANK. I find even as a Cannabis Journalist describing the taste and smell f Cheese is quite the challenge. I shove my face into a jar of perfectly cured bud as I type trying to come up with a description and I find it just impossible. Good, strong, dank, thick herbal smell and it just overwhelms the senses and makes you happy. You can keep smelling it all day and its extremely appealing to the pallet. Cheese is very frosty with resin but the trichome heads are fairly small and when I made Bubblehash the yield was medium but again the quality is outstanding and the Full melt hash has that same incredible taste. I am hoping Mamakind can help me with a description of the smell and taste. The buzz comes on strong and fast and my patients report instant pain relief from just a few tokes. I find the buzz happy and comforting but not overwhelming again making it weed you can smoke bowl after bowl of. I have a high tolerance so its probably stronger than I can tell. Overall it has quickly become one of our favorite smokes. She is very easy to grow and clone and only needs some bud support to prevent her ample buds from falling over late in bloom.

Many strains that are sought after never measure up to the hype surrounding them but this is one bud we will be smoking for a long time to come. Lovely Jubbley

In the End Pistils did not follow through with global distribution and ripped TGA off for thousands and thousands of seeds. This wouldn't be his side of things but thats what happpened

We left the old site and now do our own thing.

That sucks! and everyone over at breedbay is kissing his ass and acting like you screwed him over. I'm glad you left if those were the circumstances and good luck doing your own thing.

Just finished curing, and of course sampling, my recent Vortex grow. I've been smoking weed for 35 years, and that is the finest shit I've EVER had. Only three good hits from a small glass bong is all I need for the evening. The great lemon taste leaves me wanting more. You start to feel it immediately after the first hit, but takes about 3-5 minutes to really kick in. Then, it builds up to a really strong buzz in about 15 minutes, and lasts a long time. The sativa effect is pretty awesome too. You're able to do stuff, not lay on the couch zoned out. The indica's I'd been smoking lately put me to sleep in a few hours.

I want to try more TGA seeds, but it seems like the 2.5 oz will last for years. But I've decided to grow "The Void" sometime soon. It was a tough choice, all your stains look insanely delicious.

I will apologize for them sub... I hope everyone can restrain themselves and that you reconsider continuing The Daily Bud... It is a great idea and thread.

P.S. - I gave my pops a few KaBoom seeds and he said one of them is the nicest looking plant to come through his room and he has been growing and smoking for over 35 years...He took some cuttings for me so I'm stoked... I will try to get some pics taken for you (but I won't post them here ;)) before he chops and smokes it all but he lives a few hours away and pictures aren't his forte...
Have you gotten much feedback on the KaBoom? Do you think you will continue with this strain? -I understand if you are done with the thread and the questions... no worries.

Subcool, just lay down the law and please reconsider.

Yeah.... well good job guys. To those that posted big, out of focus, random pics of plants and/or glass: You should move them to a new thread instead of just hijacking Sub's. I'm sure he would be cool if you asked him if you could put up pics of your TGA strains or maybe he would be OK with it as long as they were nice shots. But the fact of the matter is moving in on somebody else's work and sort of just layin you thing down is like being in the middle of a lecture when some jackass interrupts the prof. ITS RUDE! The jackass being all you that posted unnecessary large pics of glass and unrelated genetics. No offense to your glass and/or genetics but make your own thread instead of shitting all over this one. Thankth

The interruptions make me loose my place and many times have no relevance to what the thread is about.
If someone was to post say some quality pics of the same strain I was speaking of then it would make since but just to bomb I thread didn't make since to me.
So I will be cleaning up the thread here the next time I have time and moving forward on this journey to post my some 60,000 pictures on one thread.

The Incredible Tiny Bomb

Great things sometimes come in small packages, and this phenotype of Space Jill (Space Queen) is I feel the best Cannabis I have ever smoked. I need give a huge disclaimer: This thing is absolutely the worst yielding plant I have ever grown; it's a double-edged sword. I grow two of these in one pot trying to conserve space and add to my head stash, but I have yet to get more than a jar full off one plant. One trick I employ is to place two plants in one pot, forming more heads to help yield more per square foot. Jill prefers the larger and more normal version we used to breed with, but I love this one. It is simply double coated in raised trichomes. It actually has so much resin that even extremely dry and cured, the weed seams to smolder in a bowl and not want to burn correctly. It is almost like your smoking resin or hash. I love the way this thing just sparkles in the flash. If you want to know how to find one of these, it's not easy. They are hidden away in the Space Jill seeds. This phenotype is extremely recessive, and then your going to have to keep the runt of the litter. "You were my pills, you were my thrills. You were my hope baby, you were my smoke." Well this plant absolutely dropped the bomb on me because if I had any sanity, I'd toss her and replace with something larger. But to date this is the one that sets me off. This girl has a taste similar to Genius and Apollo, but it's more concentrated and the tart taste is more sour than any diesel I have ever smoked, including sour D and catpiss. It also has an underlying sweet tang that is very pleasant as it rolls across the tongue and the exhale is even very sweet and tart. I have been asked before if this phenotype can be found in Space Jill and I am happy to report it definitely can. Tiny has become legend. Several people have a phenotype that resembles mine, and they describe the same traits. The lavender coloring in some of these shots is from organics and cooler night temps. If I have her placed away from the A/C unit, she doesn't turn this shade. I can also see just a hint of Romulan from time to time. As if you couldn't tell I like it, it seems to carry a slight hashy spicy taste that is well over shadowed by the sour and sweet. Now here is the other side of the coin: The other version that Jill prefers to call simply C. It has a over whelming Cherry flavor, and a much larger yield. A few friends who recently sampled her for the first time were completely blown away, and one considers it his all time favorite smoke. The only problem with this plant is I always run out of it long before anything else. The largest plant I had grown was well over five feet with at least six heads, and the total dry weight was 40 grams.
