Day 76
Flowering 41 days
I will be giving the gals a good flushing tonight. The power skunk has some magnesium deficiency. The two querkles are starting to show some mag. deficiency. Also noticing the hairs on the power skunk havent starting turning amber yet whereas the querkles have been for a week now. The taller branches are a little heat stressed but its not too bad. I pulled them down a little through the screen. I'll put up some pics in a little bit after I tend to them.

Day 85
The 3 have been flowering for 50 days now.
Update
Querkles - Green and healthy. The buds arent rock hard dense but they have a little bit of weight to them. The pistils are turning amber but they continue to grow more and more new bud so a lot of white ones too.
Powerskunk - Got some heat stress on the buds closest to light. Not too much I can do as my hood is at the top. I havent really commented much on her but she is ROCK FUCKING DENSE. The buds that have a little heat stress (or just underfed, not too sure) are thick and just keep getting denser.
Ill take some pictures and post em up.

If anybody is following then please help if ya can.
Been having a huge disparity between the ph I feed the plants and the ph of the runoff.
I fed them at 9.0ph today and the end of the runoff comes out 5.9-6.1ph. This seems like a big fall in ph. Ive been trying to raise the plants ph when I feed them to about 6.8 but cant seem to do it.
Any suggestions? Feed at 9.5ph?

So its been a little bit. its day 98
They have been flowering for 9 weeks today.
I drowned them about 24 hours ago and put them into darkness for the rest of the time.
I will harvest in about a week. Should be some excellent bud.

dolomite lime?
raises PH to just below 7.
plants don't like massive PH swings,
so i would stir some dolomite lime into the topsoil, and then feed with a balanced solution and check your run off.
grow looks good, nice SCROG.

Day 104 - Harvest time

Last night was her big debut. Spent a few hours trimming the branches all up. Made some killer scissor hash, and still have a huge ball of it left over for the rest of the week.
Now about the strains.
Querkle
Smell - (7) Kinda smelled like a fruity medicine. Definitely distinguishable from the power skunk. The smell started to really progress through the last 2 weeks.
Density - (6) I know this is mostly my doing. I had some good dense buds. Also had some not so dense buds. I gave it a lower rating because I thought it would be better. Pretty much most of the bud under the canopy was under developed. I couldnt chop just the tops off because I drowned them to finish them off.
Maybe next time I will chop the tops then let the undergrowth go another 2 weeks or so. Not dissapointed with the overall density though.
Yield - (7) In my 2 gallon containers, the grew about 2' tall overall. I LSTd them so its hard to tell. Wont know until finished drying, but I would say about 50g from each.
Color - (8) The purple will querkle. All the top colas have a purple hue to them. There were a lot of fan leaves that were purple on the underside and slightly on top as well. Trichomes everywhere. It glistens in the light...
Powerskunk
Smell - (6) Smelled a little skunky. Different from the querkle.
Density - (9) My hat goes off to the attitude. Their free feminized seed they sent me yielded the most dense buds Ive ever seen. Many buds are a 10. Some of them are as hard as rocks and their calyxes are swollen. Just like above, some of the buds under the canopy arent as dense.
Yield - (7) From one single girl, she didnt do that bad. Those dense buds should give me 2 oz.
Color - (6) Nothing too special. Just some good old green. Trichomes not as present as the querkle. Most of the buds pistils didnt turn amber until the last 3 weeks. The new bud sites just kept forming and helped with the density. While not as pretty as the querkle, it aint too bad.

Overall I think it turned out better than I thought. The wet weight came out to be 762g. Thats 1# 11oz. And thats not including all the underdeveloped bud (a good bit) I will use to make hash. After the drying process, I am hoping to get about 5oz.

I hung up all the branches and big nugs in my grow closet. Put all the trimmings and little nugs into cardboard boxes. Will get some paper bags tonight and use those.

Pictures to come soon. My buddy has a great camera and took some last night so I need to get them from him.

Ive been suffering through this drying process. Its been 1 day since I hung them to dry. My rh level is 58% +/- 2, temps are at 75. Ive kept the air conditioner in the house off all day to help raise the humidity in the grow room.
Theyve got that really pungent hay smell right now until you stick your nose in them. Due to the temp and rh of the room, they should dry for another day or 2 before I jar them up. I dont see how people can dry them for 2 weeks. I just dont have the right conditions. If I let it dry for 2 weeks, it would be dry as shit. I really cant raise the humidity any more than this without the temps getting too hot. What do you guys think? I know what the proper humidity levels should be when putting the weed in jars for curing. about 60-65 %. Since my levels get 60% at best, it seems that it would be able to be jarred without mold within the next few days. Right??
Heres some pics.

I was a bit mistaken. It actually took about 5 days or so to dry. Ive been monitoring them pretty diligently for a few days. Ive jarred them up today and the humidity level in the jars is fluctuating about 65% or so. Im gonna start burping them from now on. No need to lay them all out on the paper bags anymore. Well, thats it. This grow is done.

Final weight = 185g = 6.6oz
Gram per watt: 185/250 = .74 grams per watt.

Im gonna take about 60g or so and make a tincture with some diesel grain alcohol. Also just ordered my newest smoking toy, the da buddha vaporizer. Cant wait. happy smoking.

Hey Ryder, did you have any pheno variations? I know you said it seemed to be the SQ dominant pheno, if so kudos for getting it to go purple man. Good journal !!
