The easy guide to "earning my vote"

The problems with costs in Healthcare and University will somewhat work themselves out through the market once the lobbying system is taken down. It can become more of a reality.

You want to earn the people's vote, come up with some legitimate plans to limit/eliminate donations to candidates or elected officials.
Health care costs are currently propped up by major industry segments seeking milk the sick for every dime they can get. America's health Care system provides the worst care in the developed world while simultaneously costing the most. Great racket for major stockholders, though!

Universities have been on a spending binge for decades, due to their customer base being encouraged to saddle themselves with easy to get but impossible to discharge debt. Spending money on gigantic football stadiums does not improve the quality of education, nor does slashing the pay of associate professors and other educators so top level bureaucrats can 'earn' outlandish salaries.

Consumer as financial sucker training starts at the admissions office.

literally all based off of things padaraper has said
And absolutely unrelated to the thread topic, because you clearly can't debate anything on the merits.

Your debating style makes the Chump's look good- and look where that's getting this country.

When things can't go on like this forever...

They don't.

What's happening in America is getting ever more extreme and unsustainable, and so it can't last.

And it won't.

The 'adjustment' will be worse the longer it's put off and we've put it off for a long, long time.

Buckle up; it's going to be a rough ride for the next few years.

-universal college
-paid maternity/paternity leave
-paid vacation
-raising the minimum wage to a living wage

If you want my vote, support these policies. If you choose not to, it's not my fault you didn't earn my vote
So you want a bunch of liberal utopia's like this all over the country. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/20/disturbing-survey-finds-trash-needles-feces-littering-streets-san-francisco.html

few questions . Why would I pay for you having a baby ? Are you putting money into an account that will pay for this leave ?
Same deal with vacation.
How much is a living wage.

Wall-Mart sets the standards for Wages in all Board Meetings across this nation.
(China knows Wall Mart better and requires union representation to avoid a drain on the public coffers)

When other countries can provide healthcare while Corporations remain profitable my question is why would "our" Corporations rather have their profits build Islands in the So. Pacific, instead of building a strong Family here.

Why would the Feds forgive Corporate crimes at the cost of the local law/epa officials?

Your job should be waiting for you all the same with pay and hours etc. and 3 months minimum leave time, but its your choice to have children and you dont deserve to be paid for this.

This goes for the father too. 3 months no pay but job guarantee anytime during first year after birth.

If a company does paid leave thats cool as we have had that benefit before. But no one owes me paid leave just because I reproduced. Neighbors brought so much food and new baby things ove

I based that statement on flyers, questionnaires, e-mails, junk e-mails, phone interviews, tax donations to charities conducted by said Industries fighting low paying wages, poverty and Govt. mismanagement that I'm inundated with.

I did sit on a board for a spell.

It is too bad you do not have free healthcare. But in order to do so you have to remove the ability to sue a doctor. I think gun control would come sooner.

To your north we have health care that is 1/4 to 1/3 of the price of USA. Prescriptions about the same too. But it is national health care. A right of every Canadian.

If you are young and healthy the point is moot but if you are elderly or not healthy wouldnt it be nice to have no bill. My wife had about half a million in health care treating her cancer and my bill was zero. Awesome eh. The bill part. Cancer sucks giant monkey balls.
