Hey Frenchy when are you going to show us your dry sieve tech?
I use a mix of Afghani-Lebanese-Moroccan technique with a 190 and/or 160 microns sieve. I will have dry sieve to show at the Emerald Cup. I am planning to do that when I go back to the wood. TC will most certainly tape it.

Here is the first plant of purple paralyzer I did. Ill post pics of the other run I did this week once it's dry and pressed. This was just a mini cannoli(first run with her in my garden) my question is... I see a color inconsistency in it, could I have pressed to early? Like I had some moisture in it yet? This pic is a week into cure... I had to give her a try lol. Couldn't resist!

Thats crazy looking it almost looks fake lol

I'm only wondering if the actual trichomes are that colour or if you should have washed the blue through as if you would the green,

do you see the spot I'm talking about though? Or does it look ok to you?

Haha it didn't let me see your whole post. I washed the shit out of it I think the blue spots are just light from the flash.

The whole thing kind of looks blue, the outside looks almost purple where the inside looks light blue to me but it looks good to me, you could of maybe had a few pieces that were a little bigger after you chopped it up so it could just be a small amount of moisture from the bigger pieces that didn't quite dry all the way, looks good I bet the water was the craziest blueish purple, good work

thanks Shawn's! Yea the water was friggin black looking it was so purple. When I first pressed, the hash was almost grey in color. I never really was in to hash that much until frenchy came along, so I'm trying to get an eye developed to where I'm confident in what I do. What would really be nice is if I could see other people's runs and be able to look with a scope just to compare notes you could say.

Wow!!!What a color. Color inconsistency is due to the different level of ripeness of the trichomes which make for different colors, from milk to dark amber in general. I like it in blue. Bravo!!!

Frenchy With coloured hash like that is it the trichomes themselves that hold the colour or is it dues to the heavy colour in the flowers

I'd be down for comparing pics and tips or whatever you can pm me or just post o here. I can tell you for sure though make your own ice its way better I didn't even have to add more ice to do my second wash, I also prepped my water I had a big cooler I filled it up with water and ice to get my water crazy cold before I put it in the machine and I did the same with my pump sprayer I use that cold water then added more ice in the pump sprayer to to make sure everything was as cold as I could possibly get it then the room temp doesn't really matter imo

I'd love to compare. I keep to myself a lot in the real world so not many people besides my patients see my work. So to have others to compare with is priceless to me.

Thanks for the kind words frenchy means a lot coming from you! So I guess it's settled then, purple paralyzer has found a spot in my garden! When I smoked the hash last night it was so strong it made me feel bad...almost like I did something I'm not supposed to do anymore. Def killed pain to a point I was very satisfied with!

Same here I've been burned too many times, good solid friends are hard to come by these days.

I'll be doing a Space Bomb run tonight, most of this run is small buds and some sugar trim should be good

It could be the color of the trichomes, I have seen pinkish, yellow, purple and dark shade of reds, TC has a pic of purple trichomes but it may be due to a reflection of the leaves even and with water the color of the flowers must come in play.
In a nutshell, I have no clue!!!

It does happen when you are very gentle, good sign. Your second run should look as good if not better than the first and your water after must have been cleaner as well the second time.

The second run does look a bit better then the first, the first still looks good too though. Do you think I should have done a 3rd run or do you judge that by the water when its almost done draing. On my last run I do use my sprayer to spray inside the machine to help wash the trichomes to the bottom do you do this also when your machine stops spinning do you let it sit for a min or two to let the trichome fall to the bottom

You always should do a third run if you have a nice amount of trichomes in your 70 on the second run. Also I always do my last run without the 70 to "reinforce" my 45. I do not use a sprayer but a hose with a lot of power and I do rinse my machine a you do but there is no real need to wait for the trichomes to fall to the bottom of the machine.
