your not kidding thats what i have to lose. its dropping though im only a week and a half in and i have shed 3lbs. first week was really tough though i didnt think i was going to be able to move and couldnt push myself as hard as i would have liked. second week is going great guns i can feel my core strength returning and i am pushing myself a lot harder. im thinking 5lbs a week is around what i should be able to drop so in 6 weeks i should be fighting fit as long as i keep my eye on the ball and stick to eating healthy. thats the hard part for me.

thats my main issue too eatin right but im tryin to go up not down so i get a lot more room to eat bad stuff eventho the worst things i eat are whole milk, white bread, an peanut butter. start settin times you a certain workout an the next time you do it keep tryin to beat that time. thats what keeps me motivated when i train by myself

Jesus, 146, you must be like 5'5", I forgot what you said, but you look fit as fuck man, that's what my goal looks like.

I look like that at 165-170lbs @ 6'1". Been watching a lot of UFC lately, anybody train or practice any martial arts, shit looks interesting as fuck!

yeah good work blazin. my diet isnt so bad. i pretty much just remove all starchy foods and anything that sends your blood sugar into a spin. its all about keeping your blood sugar stable. if you can do that you will find that you dont get cravings. cant wait till i smash all my body fat off so i can start the bulk up process. main thing is though gotta get the chub off its mid winter here now but i want to be looking at my best when that aussie sun rolls out so i can hit the beach.

thanks guys im bustin my ass so it better be payin off! im barely 5'11 i guess its just my bf% is lower so its always made me look bigger. or it could be i workout with weight i struggle to get 8 with at the start an wont go up till i get get the same weight for 12 reps atleast so i think that makes me a lil more dense. an i have the genetics of someone who rode horses professionally so that might help hide some of the muscle as well. im tryin to be at 170-175 unless i get into them crossfit games then ill bulk up to 195.

thats what i fuck u
p on is the sugar an salt intake. salt isnt as bad cause i drink a whole bunch of water an ive cut it out of any foods i make. i just hope i workout enough to burn the sugar off lol. you on the right track forget just gotta stick with it no matter how much it sucks cause you'll hit a point to where it doesnt suck anymore an you'll wanna do more an more. its like a drug! an pad ive done some mma trainin an that shit is BRUTAL. the shit they make you do to strengthen your abs.....it was hell dude, but after a few months of it you could have someone hit you in the stomach an that shit would barely hurt. ima start throwin in mma type shit into my workouts esp when my trainin partner an i get some pads an masks to spar. OH its game over i cant wait!

I feel the same way, I need to cut out all the fatty foods (mayo, excessive salt/oil, etc.) and just eat the good, non processed shit that nature intended! I've been working hard, but the fat around the mid section doesn't seem to be fading as much as I'd like, I think I'm going to change my diet and eat nothing but healthy foods from now on. I figured at the beginning I could get by doing the usual, but it seems I can't, so diet change will probably be in effect starting tomorrow.

Do you intake any fat at all or watch what you eat regarding every single thing? Any candybars or cupcakes here and there or strictly good shit?

Cheers boys, i found that eating no later than 6.30 as your last meal of the day helps to lose a fair bit of weight. Off to do shoulders, traps and abs.

my diet is simple. eat fresh foods no starchy shit or high sugar shit. you learn to cook tasty stuff like nice stir fry's and omelettes and stuff so it really isnt bad at all.

do search on the menshealth tnt diet thats pretty much what i do and it works wonders.

also as far as candy bars and shit i dont really have a sweet tooth but i do usually take what i call fat friday and just eat whatever i want on fridays.

yeah man i do abs 5 days a week mon wed and fri, i do a 30 min with weights and then 10 mins of crunches and shit like that then the days in between i only do a 10 mins of various different crunches, reverse crunch, bicycle and a few others

also i found just straight running is really inefficient at burning fat. i used to do weights with running days in between but found its not the most effective. thats why i switched to the cardio workout that i do now. i cant remember what its called but it basically just really high intensity cardio for 60 second bursts with 15 sec breaks and doing
exercises that use a lot of core strength and heaps of muscle groups. running

Abs 5 days a week?! Most things I read say to do a specific location then rest a day, do you find 5 days a week isn't strenuous on your abs? Or did I read that wrong, you only do mon, wed, fri?

Could you expand on your ab workout routine, like how many of what exercise you do, rest, then continue? I'm looking for a pretty good comprehensive ab workout routine I can do everyday during the run, I would appreciate it, thanks bud!

me too thats why i usually run a lil distance before an after my intense workouts to get that latic acid to decrease an just to calm down after a crazy workout. i do my abs mon, wed, an friday all you really need to get is an ab roller but i do crunches with a slight hip extension. i do those on a decline bench, but other than that hangin leg lift(find a tree an hang on that bitch!), leg raises layin on the ground 10 middle, 10 left, 10 right. i usually do all my ab workouts like that. knee to chest crunches are hell too

I'd like to get some video of your guy's workout routines with some explanations, anybody against that?

If I did one, it would be about an hour, as each workout is about an hour... Maybe a detailed explanation of what you do, what you eat, when, and how it affects your workouts?

Do any of you guys take any supplements or vitamins or just eat relatively healthy and work out each day?

This is becoming a great thread, thanks for all your contributions, fellas!
