The Great Outdoors Grow of 2OO8 - Gilfman's First Time

im moving away from outdoor till i find some close by adequate cop free land to use. im all indoor now with leds baby. they rule....no hassles....no burning no fires. my outdoor crop is 20 strong but a bitch to get to and water. good luck!

just found a slug on one of my plants the other day....lil effer ate half.....just the fan leaves though....phew! i use a three in one spray but was told to avoid the spray near flowering....leaves a taste. im using laundry deter around the pots to keep them off from now on.

im just pissed the deer didnt eat the males .. or just that's all they left me with .. i think i need to add more nitrogen .. the bottom leaves keep turn yellow quickly (need nitrogen?) ... any way i hope the seeds i will be getting add a good bit of yield to my final harvest .. well anyway this means i gotta get more soil (more money) uhhh .. well anyway .. ill try to do that this week

well.. trying to get them germed.. havent got ahold of any seeds yet

ok update on plants .. i fed them today and the 2 new tops started to emerge out and looked good ... friend is a pretty crabby source of seeds seeing how i still dont have them ..

Glad to hear they are showing new growth,post some pics when you getta chance.

AS USUAL ... it's monday and here are my updated pics .. little one died cause i stepped on it a while back (oh well) and the remaining 4 are doing well take a look here
notice one has 3 tops and anyone sex this yet? i think it's male (i hope not)

other tops are coming along fine and the one the deer topped is doing great look at those tops .. like i have 2 plants!

i think i will get seeds today from my first source of seeds since my second sucks

you might actually get more bud than me. my seedlings got fried in the sun...good thing i saved 2 seeds for another year!
anyways, im lovin those plants my man. its hard to tell, but i think in a week or two it will be clear. keep up the good work and dont get down if they turn out to be male (right now i think i might have 1 female and 4 males).

yeah man if i could grow indoors id be takin clones ..im getting seeds today for sure and im gonna try to grow 20 in a confined space .. almost like SoG outdoors .. im anxious to see if it works or how well it works .. im not gonna have the hole as big for the new plants because they wont be getting that big before budding time

the one i see looks like a ball sack not sure maybe those are preflowers dang this is a long thread it took me thirty mins to get thru it but i rate you a thumbs up on your grow and check that ball sack on the one plant that has the two shoots and one main shoot looks like male but oh well. i was thinking about getting more seeds too it almost end of july so they will have a good bit of time in ny rite now i got ten in five gal pots filled with real non dyed mulch and peat moss hope they keep up the good growth their almost four feet now surprising!! what you do is build a crate bout three foot wide and five foot long and chicken wire fence around the sides not top so your plants can grow in perfect plots i think thats wat im gonna do for my seedlings GOOD LUck buddy peace keep the updates going i wish i could take pics of mine toooh well

only that one is.. other are still too little i think .. maybe just that strain lol

gilfman for the deer i take a coffee can and put a sponge in it and put lil holes in the can then put piss on the sponge then every time it rains some of the piss will leak out another thing is stop by the local barber shop and tell them u are tryn to keep deer out of your sweet corn patch thats what i do and no deer problem yet matter of fact there is a deer run four foot from a couple girls thought i would share that with u good luck

thanks for the advice .. but i already found my deer repellent its call Repel-all .. works , period ... but thanks anyway man ..

well i started germing some seeds today.. and i also got some green house planters .. 4 containers in one tray kinda deal.. im gonna be starting the germed seeds in those and will be putting them in the ground when they start to outgrow the container .. ill update pics tomorrow on the new seeds

not bad like jiffy pot PEats they swell up when you add water i might try those for mine they come in 12 so if i can get 24 ill be happy

had those.. for first ones.. but i think ill like planting them in soil first this time.. but thanks for the advice! .. no seeds have cracked yet lol
