Last I heard they are working on getting it approved state by state and are only in oregon (although they could be in more by now). Gotta love government bureaucracy.

Where again in Oregon? aka - whats NLG stand for?

And do they have the full base and Super soil mixes in, or just the nutrient charge?

Ive been using Down To Earths Pro organics as my base lately, but havent locked down how much super soil i need to mix with it, just for the base. Been coming up a little light each time so far.

At least you can get their soil for base... i'm sure i am not gonna be able to get sub's soil until i move to the west coast. pretty much sunshine, roots and foxfarm are my choices

I speak with the soil guys about once a week right now and they have just paid to get approval in 10 more states at once.

Right now the base soil and the super soil is only approved in Oregon.
They have started shipping the nutrient packs just in the last week.
Every dollar made goes right back to the USDA, lawyers and all this permitting and approval.

Lots of people are selling fake soils etc so look for our official approved label someone told me today they bought some in Texas and while I don't run the soil division I know were not approved to sell and its a $10000 fine per bag to sell without the proper permitting and licencing. Even the guaranteed analysis on the label has to be approved by really slow government agencies.

For any info

How cool is this.
I just came across this thread.Guess I haven't been about much lately but then again its summer here.

Hope fully if this all works out there will be a soil mix ready for the mass's.
I loved the Super Soil results when I was using it.The biggest problem I had was storage for the winter.I would have to mix up 2 batches and store it for the winter.I remember having it out side in garbage pails and the pails froze to the ground so I had to bust them up to get them inside. Then it took 1 month just for the 1st foot of soil to un thaw.I ended up haveing to go back to bottled nutes cause it took soooo long for the soil to un thaw.
Fingers crossed that maybe we shall see Super Soil pre mix's available here in Canada.

just to add, since this is up again.....

I mixed my Charge Pack with my standard soil.... got 3 trash cans full. It's been sitting for about 4 weeks, already has fuzzies.

Going to be using it in my next run, about 45 days from now.

Any word on this coming to Philly Pa anytime soon?
I am pretty certain they are concentrating on medical states first, then the others.

So you may have to travel across state lines for your soil before it comes to PA :-)
