I thought I did... The only reason I am so concerned is they are auto flowering and every day of them not doing top notch I feel has an impact on yield am I correct? I put them back under the cfl but nothing seems to improve them... I also did not water last night as bunch of ppl say im overwatering. Somebody HAS to know what's wrong..

What should I do??

What would you do?

They look over watered. Those peet plugs hold lots of water. Are you letting the cup get light before watering again? It is important for them to have a good mix between air and water.
Using MG perlite is really a bad idea. they put nutrients and who knows what else in it. I would really try to get some regular perlite.
At this point in thier life cfls are enough and could probably be about 6" away. As they put on another node and get just a little bigger I would put the light about 2" away. Seedlings & cuttings dont need a ton of light until they have a decent root structure.
Keep your lights on temp at 75-85 and your off temps to no less than 60. These are just basic guidlines... Ive had temps in the high 90s to 100 during flower in summer and still had decent crops.

Hope that helps a little, honestly I think the perlite and watering schedule are probably your culprets of droopy leaves and slow growth.

since searching in this thread doesn't work, i'll just ask my question in hopes that it hasn't been asked already.

i am getting ready for my outdoors grow and was wondering if the hempy method was recommended for outside?

The OP says yes, and I have grown non-pot outdoors in hempy; you have to water daily when the summer temps get up. Plants grow like weed though:weed:

Im thinkin the problem is from the rapid rooter plugs, hempy bucket you cant water too much, but at watering once a day, and water hitting the plug when I water, the plug has been soaked this whole time and I haven't noticed, when you squeeze it a bit water starts to want to ooze out like a sponge, I am going to let them dry out and hope for improvement.

also don't think it's the nutes in the mg perlite because I transplated the rapid rooters as soon as a taproot came out the bottom of them, and they did great in the hempy cups for 2-3 days, up until one day I came home to them being in 90 degree temps and 15 humidity, and proceeded to water the crap out of them, and for the days after that trying to keep them humid and cool (but also making them too wet)

Just make sure your clones are rooted sufficiently in rockwool or comparable material. I would love to see some photo's of your results.... I am thinking of doing a LR in beers cups CFL grow next time, just for shits and giggles....

My humble opinion is that you need to wait at least 1 week to start flowing a clone so it's got it's roots established a little bit, and I would use something a little bigger than a plastic beer cup, not that it couldn't be done, but to do it right you'd need to use something at least a gallon or so in size... or bigger depending on how big you want your plants to be.

I've got 8 clones in my diy ez cloner and only want two for mothers, so i figured i would take the others and stick them in with the rest of my plants in the flower room, the clones would be like a week behind the rest. Just thought its better then tossing them in the trash maybe i'll get a 1/4oz out of 'em maybe a 1/4lb. either way better than nothing.

once out of the cloner they will have like 6" long roots soi thought ifi osed a peice of 3"pvc icould st it inthe cup with the plant in it then fill around it and slowly lift it so the perlite filled in around the roots that way the root would already reach the rez. hows that sound??

that's a smart idea. from the info i gather clones flowered immediately usually end up weighing at least 5 grams each. that's at least an extra ounce, nothing wrong with that.

I would bother with any of that, just plant the rooted clones in the hempy as normal, let the root grow down into the resevoir as normal... It doesn't take long and promotes a much stronger root stucture.
Hempy's were made for simplicity, to complicate them like that is of no benefit to the plants..

I have a quick question that has probably already been asked but I have dial-up and can't go through all these pages. I am interested in giving this a try for a transition from soil to hydro. I have schultz veg nutes for soil (10-15-10) and schultz bloom (10-54-10) for flowering. I want to expiriment but don't want to shell out cash for hydro nutes. Will the stuff I have be alright? Thanks.

you dont have to use hydro specifis nutes in my experience just dont use anything high in sediments or it could effect the mediums ability to breath.

Douche Nozzle:

I guess u could use soil nuts without any problem but remember to not use them at full strengh. Plants in Hydro absorb better elements so start half strengh at least and see how they react.

Peace

Wow, that was a lot of reading! 134 pages to be exact! Good Info though, thanks to everyone. I have 9 WW in 3 gallon square buckets I got at an italian restaraunt. Theyre under a 600 HPS. I hat the light too close for a while and bleached them out some, now that I moved the light up to 20" theyre doing good. I water with GH 3 part at 0/4/8 G/M/B and it works great. I am however really suprised at how little I have to water. I split 1 gallon between all 9 plants every 4-5 days and they look fine. They've been on 12/12 for 5 weeks now and look to have about 5 left. I'll let you know how it turns out then.

So i'm only in about 40 pages and couldnt wait to read 60+ more to find this answer out. I've heard AZ saying to not even bother with CFL's for growing.

I'm not sure if that would apply to what I'm using. For veg i have 4-T5 6500k Floro's

For Flowering i have a 400w HPS

Are the floro's no good, should i just use MH to veg? Any input on this would be appreciated, just started my hempy, should have pics and a journal in a day or so!

Thanks for this thread and everyone's input.
