Yea i get on fine with the parents, they have known about the growing for years, her father even helped grow in the greenhouse, it her brother im worried about. He has never known we grow because he had moved out. He moved back in earlier this year. I havent even grown in the greenhouse missing out on much of my harvest for this year. He is a bit of a head case and we had to call the gards last night on him, he was very violent towards every and goin round with a knife. He has some how found out about my indoor grow and threatning to call the gards on us because we called them on him. We think he has been in snooping in the house the 1 time we forgot to lock it when we went of.

Look, I live in a caravan behind a semi derelict 3 room cottage. It's my home and if the guards wanted to come in and take a look about I'd want to see their paperwork!

Don't arouse suspicion and they've no reason to bother you. Keep safe.

If they think the laws being broken (they can make up any excuse) they can just enter..yay ireland

Not America they don't need a warrant this is from personal experience they walked right in the excuse was they got a noise complain no grow on but smoke on the table but they just took it as it was so little. We were like u can't just walk in n once researched if they think the laws being broken or someone's in danger (easy for em to bullshit) they can walk right in but their has to be more than one garda present. Sometimes they have a warrant if they've been watching u, ur allowed to read it but not hold it

Simple as that then? I guess if the want in they'll get in by hook or by crook.

I wonder how it would go if they used the noise excuse to enter your house but the grow was in a locked outbuilding?

Same outcome probably. Make up an excuse and bend you over it.

Get a good solicitor if it goes dwn but if they hav a warrant for the house it covers anytin on the property

You can forget about a fruitful breeding program there- expect troublesome clones, and for God's sake, make sure you shut the curtains properly at night. The last thing you want is a light leak and to wake up with a hermi chucking pollen all over the gaff. o_O

a warrant is needed to search a dwelling(but not sheds, gardens etc , guard can open the gate and walk in, customs i believe too), if there is a crime going on inside a dwelling aka smell smoke see lads sitting around smoking , they will walk in no bother, i believe that a caravan is a dwelling but not 100%.
The guards are not going to suit up go over and "ask permission" lol, they will get the warrant first , if they get a warrant for the parents house i am not sure if would include your private dwelling the caravan, but we all know that the guard will probably go ahead and search it any way "how did we know it was a dwelling", plus if they find stuff judge wont care.

1 clear house just incase, better to run away and fight another day, 2 get the brother sorted now, if he does something down the line, hurts somebody there will be alot of regrets and tears, 3 purely piss in the wind idea but perhaps go to a hardware shop , get a private residence/property sign and post box and stick them on the font door of the caravan, never know guard may think twice about going in depending on the warrant (im probably wrong).

They use the old "public order offence" which means anything they consider offensive to the public they can enter with no warrenty for example if ur tvs 2 loud they can say they got a noise complaint n got no answer when knocked so just walked in...so best close up shop if that lads a rat
