yep high in potassium but there seems to be a line of tought that a weak feed of coco water is benificial, never tried so cant really comment, but its not something id bother with, i like straight forward and low maintainence...

as for the potting compost being too hot... meh, yeah you can burn them if its tossed on willy nilly to plants that were started in pots too big for them but if you pot up from germ i cant see the problem, never burned a small one yet, burned up a good few big ones tho but thats not the soils fault..hahahahahaa

hows all today anyways... shit day in work for me, out in the cold all day....

Id be the same as you ae, seedlings can take a fair bit of heat imo.
Lads its so fucking cold ive the vaporiser on so I dont have to go out for a joint n tbh its tasting amazing.

I personally wouldn't use coconut water for the potassium when its in veg that I foliar feed n the nutes give her all she needs,im 100% chemical bro

hahahatold you old and outta the loop....

@Bandit, whats the story with these cob led`s, are they mutli chipped or whats the whack up on them, i`ve fitted the new type led in domestic situation here after kang had a terrible time with his led setup i kinda stayed well away, i love the hps after a few early cfl grows but the heat can be unreal at times ...well it the places i had it going .... as said before grow rooms that were fired together for flowering then ripped down...

is there heat off the cobs, if so is it more or less than say a run of the mill led setup...

not mad about foiliar feeding not nutes etc, but i do let them have plenty of water only through the spray gun, i feel the nute feeds help with defs and burn ..

Hahaha raws are fairly old man n I prefer em since I like the non bleached papers since I smoke so much.
Cobs(chip on board) is like 9 or more leds chips attached to the surface n yes there is a fair bit of heat, like my cx 16 runs quite how imo next to a 600aircooled but the output equates to that of a 1000w hps(aparently) n shes only like 700-750w,ive her half on atm and temps are 20c so when I pot up ill put her on full power as I just wanted to do a few temp tests with my new setup. But yeah theyre great light source ive also a Budmaster cobx4 atm for veg but will replace that with my cobx9 n move the x4 to my seedlings tent n keep my 3x3 tent for mid to late veg n my 4x4 for the flowering

This explains the cobs more indept

I reuse my soil so thats ehy I do the veg foliar feed routine but once they are about to be flipped I feed via medium again but I just dont want a salty buildup

current plans are for hps but led seems the way to go, much lower cost to run aswell... it`ll be awhile i think before i go led, i`ve already started gathering bits for the grow room proper, this 600w one is for now, the walls will be staying but the rest is temp...

have to get a few pics up soon just for progress of the room..
