Theres a few different strains, 8 plants. All feminised Dutch passion. 5 Hollands hope, 1 Twilight ( the purple one) 1 skywalker, 1 strawberry cough, They've all showed a touch of purple and i think thats down to the temperatures. The weather has played havoc with them. Alot of breakages and falling over but they're struggling through
I have to hollands hope there myself, dutch passion of course. One has gone very purple while i have another one that only have a small tint on the nugs. Very nice plant i must say.

Hopefully this fine spell hangs around for a while, might get some nice fat nugs if i dont have to chop early.

Thats exactly how i feel. Just terrified of frost. Im most impressed with the twilight. Its been the most resilient and has grown the biggest

Has any one got any input on how far i should have my 400w hps from my babies, transplanted them out of party cups today, they are 3 days old ( above soil) and at the moment i have the light about 2ft away from them but am afraid of stretching.

i would leave it were it is, still a bit young to be any lower, but if your insistant put your hand at the same level of top of the plants, if the heat feels uncomfortable on your hand its 2 close.

Ye i think your right, Think the are fine where they are, I left enough room in the pots for more soil incase this happened.

Whats the crac lads, a few more pics of the girls taken a few days ago. The hollands hope is well fatter now and alot more purple cant take any pics cuz its to fuckin windy lol. Hoping the wind will keep the ould mold away for another while. Im thinking of leaving them go another week, flush for 10 days and chop. The other hollands hope in a mates is well behind mine. Were going to try and let that go till holloween, weather depending of course.

In my experience the breaks didn't cause too much grief. It slowed them
A little but at 12 ft tall that was sort of a good thing. Mj is a weed At the end of the day so it will sort it self out and survive. Ours have seen some pretty serious damage but one in particular is hanging one to it's branch by a thread but still going. I suppose I'm saying that breaks aren't good but not the end of the world. Regarding the yellow leaves that will happen at the end of the grow as all the nitrogen is used up. Par for the course so again not something to worry about.
I'm no expert and always learning myself so if anyone knows more or has a different opinion I'm wide open to it. Hope this helps

hows it going fellas, hope everyones grows are going good but im hoping someone can help me, i have my grow in a closet now with three plants which are now over a foot tall each and wide. only thing is i am a little worried about them at night, they are on 12/12 now but i was just wondering if i would need some sort of heater in with them on a night, thats when they are in the dark. i should have made the daytime there night really as thats when house is warmest (only just thought of it). do you guys have a heater in with your plants during the nights as they are getting colder?
thanks for any help guys as usual always mucho appreciated!
lu
ps, would it be ok to leave them on a full 24 light and then switch them back to 12/12 straight away, or am i worrying about nothing.
pics coming soon.

I think your worrying about nothing. Temps should drop about 10 degrees when the lights go off. unless you live in a old mansion where it becomes freezing at night youll be fine. My lights go off at night but it would never get cold enough to cause them a problem inside the house. As long at your not too far into flower a 24 hour bit of light shouldnt cause a big issue. You'll probably want to change it around anyway as its cheaper to run lights at night. If your purely doing it for temperature theres no point

Hi Luciferateme,

I use a heater at night, I don't like there being more than 8 degrees C difference between day and night. If I was changing my day to night I'd be more comfortable leaving them in darkness for 24 hrs rather than a 24hr light period. Or you could get a thermostat and leave a heater in the growroom. Just google "plug in thermostat"

Use a fan heater for a larger space and something like a vivarium heater for a smaller space though these give off some infra red light and you should use a shield between it and your plants
